    last initial condition for Kepler equations that you provided is sqrt of a negative number so how does it work?

    The variable 'e' is always smaller than 1. So the initial condition is not going to be sqrt of a negative value.

    Thank you for your interest in this code. Actually it depends on your definition of 'e'. I took 'e' as the vertical distance between O and the sliding surface. So in this definition my code is definitely correct. You can define 'e' in another way and change the code accordingly.

    When I type: "pyversion C:\Users\esuar\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python312\python.exe" it says "Error using pyversion Python version , is not supported" I tried using different versions like 3.11 and it still didnt work Edit: I was able to make it work with python 3.8.0

    Instead of writing the timespan as [0 2] you can write it as 0:0.01:2 here the step size is 0.01

    This is a really helpful video. I tried rewriting keplers equations in 3 dimensions, which i thought would be an easy extension from what you did - 3 2nd order ODE's means 6 1st order ODE's with 6 initial conditions - but it was not easy. Why don't you consider the gravitational parameter, mu, in your example for keplers equation? I find when i add mu to your code, then the graph falls apart.
