I just got one like this, I wonder how you changed the kernel? Help me please
This was the first game I played. I must have been 4 years old! It was at my local corner store.
What about. If you have solid previous written work references ? Do they count or does only a college degree matters ?
There were 5 twisted metals on psx
Awesome video!! 5 *****stars😊
Modified mine to fit sanwa joystick
Thats like a wii u gamepad
you can actually shoot the hawk if you move low enough but it is very risky.
The Pal version had no ladies 😢
WTF IS DAT CONSOLE INTROVJAJSJJSSJJA
Omg absolutely love fast striker. Played it on Dreamcast. To see it on Neo Geo is amazing! Maniac is best mode. The OST is incredible.
Man. I've watched you for so long! I don't own any arcade hardware. But I saw you got Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune on the Chihiro working back in the day.... Any chance of trying to get newer games in the series working? Perhaps on the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 on the System N2? Great video as always man.
I remember your iconic Panasonic CRT haha.... Do you still have it somewhere?
2:19
Wow, the music on this one is amazing! Wish I had tried it when I still had a Marty. One day... one day.
I thought these Naomi 2 gun games needed the sensors that are usually located around the monitor bezel of the original cab? What light gun set up are you running?
Finally! Was trying to remember this game so badly! The only thing I could remember was seeing it at a bowling alley inside a shopping mall back in '08 or so, was hypnotized at the time by the intro, kinda like a film trailer. Namco's intention with TC really was to make you feel taking part in a bona fide action flick. How I miss lightgun shooting...
Do u have a video on the hardware and what is required to set this up Luke? Would Rastan 3 work too?
Great video. 10 years later it helped me set up the Conveni Wars game on my SFC. The game is fun to play. Plus you can get barcodes of the internet now via a barcode search engine and generator.
You may be able to revive Bay Route. There are decrypted ROMS available from Sega Resurrection.
been busy with some stuff but finally found a minute to catch up on these! I don't think I've played a ton of time crisis at least past 2, maybe a little bit of this one? I remember it being kinda fun with the weapon switching. gonna have to find a way to play this one via emulator!
The potentiometer on the laser fixed my not spinning problem. I should have seen this video before... I replaced the motor... The motor controller IC... I was ready to quit. Thanks for the tip.
Mine is going on 30 years...
Time Crisis 4 is the first arcade machine that I've seen that takes $1 bills.
While the game gear is closer to a master system (master gear), but the name mega gear is quite funny as anagram of game and indicative of being more ;-)
Hey luke, when release date got April first called April fools ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
0:59 voice from cotton
For expert hd model after turning on you will hear voice samples from cotton
Very cool to see this version again. I love the PS2 version, but have only played the arcade port around 2001 when our local Namco Arcade got one. I couldn't remember much of it--it seems like it's basically the same engine, intro and music, but arranged more in a classic RR arcade format. It also seems faster than the beginning parts of the PS2 game, which is cool. I'd love to get my hands on one of these!
Your content was what made me want to get a blast city all those years ago. Just finally got one of my own with a Naomi. Feels really good.
I miss these days of the channel
Loved this video 14 years ago but ouch that shaky Iow frame rate video today… lol
=D The last Ridge Racer I played was the 3DS version - that was cool!
Great set and great game....Thanks for share the video.
love that game, still has the best worst voice acting ever :D
Awesome stuff bro! I still need to setup controls for mine lol 💯
Thanks brother. If you run into any trouble (which I'm sure you won't), feel free to hollar 😊
2:05 2:17 Oh TAZ From Taz Mania. You Too Funny And Hilarious As Bugs Bunny From Looney Tunes. X❤
Ridge Racer V in the arcade format, minus the extras like Duel, Free Run and Pac-Man GP. Also the last arcade release in the series, though Arcade Battle came out several months after the PS2 version.
Love watching your content. Nothing beats the Arcade experience. Any differences between the Ps2 and Arcade versions?
As an old soul person for 2000, Luke this is absolutely gold 🪙
Nice Luke! I’ve read that the Namco System 246 hardware was based on the PS2.
Wow that is one loud system!
I think it's been like 15 years since I subscribed to this channel
Love me some Ridge Racer.
love it <3 hey luke i was just wondering what you might think about those "arcade 1up" arcade cabinets? in germany the only ones i saw are street fighter, pac man, centipede and mortal kombat. i once played the pacman one and yeah it works, but felt kinda cheap😅 i don't know if these are even available in japan. but it seems that in america a lot of people have them😊
Always wanted to see / play a Ridge Racer V Arcade machine. Looking good Luke!
I was thrown for a loop when I thought you posted this before, so I'll just loosely repeat what I might have said before: I'm surprised your place isn't burned down with that thing lol. Jokes aside, it's good to enjoy the ridge racer stuff! I'm sure it took a good amount of time to get it set up in the first place, hence why you did the wire up tip video. I don't know if you ever saw the Initial D arcade stuff but some of them were on the Naomi. I think Sega published most of them. Pretty cool stuff, enjoy yourself!
That yellow lit tunnel is so iconic. Nothing beats an Arcade racers. Reminds me of my bowling alley who had the full sized one. I mean the FULL size. Huge projector and full size mazda mx5. It took up a whole room. Unfortunately it was so expensive no one hardly used it.
Can we have another room tour?
Hmm i might try the game in my jambo safari cab
How "strong" is your force feed back with that steering wheel. I got a actual cabinet im working on and am curious if its actually super noticable or not mines not atm.
