Dake was one of the best college wrestlers of all time. With only 4 losses in college. Too bad he never won an Olympic gold medal. He deserves it!

How do you prevent the guillotine/headlock when you single leg?
@vmont1658 ай бұрын
I think maintaining good position is key, defensively your opponent wants to get your head down and get you extended. Trying to maintain good head position and keeping your hips in definitely helps !

As wrestlers we all forget what spandex shows, or maybe we're proud of it, but lose shorts are a more family friendly look. Just saying.

In slow motion or practice it looks easy. In a real match it happens so fast. Does constant repetition make it faster?

Watching these you learn so much more than in practice. I don't know if it's the fact you guys know what you're talking about and demonstrating or you have a desire to share your knowledge but whatever it is thanks.

Tried this in practice yesterday, but ended up in dogfight and getting wizzered into the mat. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Maybe bad timing.

Hey Michael ! That’s awesome you were giving this a try. Definitely a tough technique to get right away as it does require a little bit of “feel”. It’s important to get your opponent pressuring into you really hard and also it does help if your opponent has the opposite lead leg as you ( notice joeys left foot is close to my right foot which makes it a little easier ). Keep playing around with it though and you’ll get it !
