    I want to do something like this for the spoiler on my car. Hit the brakes and it raises to increase drag and downforce.

    I was gonna say...I bet the leaf spring mount broke like mine did after 258,000 miles. I wasn't expecting this. Do people just not look under their vehicles from time to time?

    I love ur content, but man what kind of mechanic deliberately gets a force outboard motor. Not a good engine my brother. I guess u probably don’t work on a lot of boats. Lol

    A Force?! Good lord. The pinto of outboard motors

  • @pcolapaddler
    @pcolapaddler7 сағат бұрын

    Force motors were the old Chrysler motors. Mercury Marine bought them and continued to sell them. They were cheap, simple, dependable motors. Mercury already has their own named line as well as Mariner; they didn't really put much money into the Force line. Some parts may have interchanged with Mercs. I had one that ran well and was dependable for many years. It wasn't without problems, but I've not seen any that were.

    @@pcolapaddler I remember them being dogs. Underpowered and usually put on low end boats. That was the 90s era mercury forces

    Low key kinda genius. Doesn't look and work jank. Looks like solid work and creative way to solve a problem. It also saves backs from having to manually lift the fucker when loaded on trailer to protect prop. Love the boat tho

    B. Bankruptcy O. On A. A T. Trailer I have owned and restored many boats in my life, jet, stern drive, cruisers, and speed boats. The 2000s and up Bayliners have been absolutely wonderful. Stay on top of the maintenance and do not park it outside for storage. It will be just fine.

    Bayliner with a Force, (Chrysler)! That was a new boat when I worked on boats, Only the north would you still find that set up! That little boat had the selling point of a "sequential lift hull", it even says so on the side by the windshield!

    Always remember a couple things about boating and having a Bayliner. 1) Boat is an acronym fir, bust out anither thousand. 2) A Bayliner is (used to be) like AIDS, you couldn't get rid of it, no matter how bad you wish you never got it.

    The best advice I received from the boat mechanic. Run it often,run it hard. That's what I did. Every night after work, I would take the boat out. It never let me down. Let it sit for a week. There was some gremlin at would make itself known. Enjoy.
