G'day Mate I hope you don’t mind me messaging you here. I am contacting prominent Aussie hunting KZreadrs and social media influencers regarding an issue that will effect many hunters in Victoria (and hunters from other states who come down to enjoy our state forest sambar and fellow deer hunting). Currently, a 'Great Forest National Park' is proposed for the central highlands and eastern Victoria. While a new national park might initially seem beneficial, the reality is that a dozen existing state forests will be incorporated into the new park and Victorians will lose access to their public land where we can currently enjoy year-round hunting without restriction. As an Aussie hunter with a big audience, we'd appreciate if you could use your platform and following to help us raise awareness for this issue. Can we count on you and your business to support us in the fight against this proposed park? Please let us know by replying to this email (if you’re lending your support please send us a logo so we can list it on our website) Kind Regards, Michael Gumley For more information about the proposed park, visit: notogreatforestpark.org/

How do I get involve with going out on a hunting trip? I've been out quite a few times solo, and i haven't even seen any signs of something. obviously you're not always going to find something, and you'll learn as you go but it'll be nice to finally get something or see some sort of signs, it'll be good to learn from someone as I don't know anyone who hunts.

Thats one continent with some seriously rich history from Eastern Europe to the UK and everything in between! It’s a shame that no network wanted your show because it really show a great example of the Australian hunting scene. Hopefully you grow a huge audience on KZread because it’s well deserved. Big old troll. Love the gnarly heads. Interesting what you were saying about body shape in older Sambar stags. Everything you said also applies to Red stags. I'm an expat Kiwi but I live and hunt Red's up here in Central West of NSW. To quickly gauge a Red stag on the hoof I'm looking for a rectangle head shape, not a triangle like the younger stags have, a big block rectangle body shape, a low hanging stomach and that body blending into neck look.

Thanks mate, great stuff yes this applies to most deer, just the big old boys are rare hey, but it makes the hunt so much more worthwhile when you do eventually find them! Cheers, Rob.
