All Igbo people are not Jews. There is no quantitative substancial evidence on that theory.

Nice work, as an Igbo man I feel more connected to Jewish culture and religion than other religions. As a child the Jewish practice was very evident but I got older the Christian practice sort of forced its way in and became more dominant all around.

I am a 2nd generation British Jamaican descendant of the slave trade. I recently did a DNA test. My most recent ancestry was Igbo Nigerian. Going further back into my lineage, I share ancestry with Ashkenazi Jews and I share my paternal haplogroup with the 20th dynasty of Egypt (Ramses III and his successors). I'm not even religious, just on a journey of self discovery. Since my DNA says I share ancestry with Ashkenazi Jews, I'm intrigued to understand what DNA test was carried out on the Igbos? What was the sample size? What genetic component were the geneticists looking for to confirm a Jewish heritage.. etc etc? There are also documents that talk of a Hebrew migration into West Africa specifically, the information isn't hard to find (just Google Jews of 'Bilad el-Sudan', which is Arabic for 'land of the blacks'). There are also ancient maps by Italian cartographers who denote a Jewish homeland in west/central Africa. Like I said, I'm not even religious but all of this is fascinating to me. Also, I don't think Igbo Nigerians need a handout, they are one of the richest tribes in Africa per capita. Have you seen some of the mansions they live in? 😮

Hello Jonny, We Igbo in Nigeria are aware of Haitian-Igbos and we don't abandon our people no matter how long we go apart. Some of your people visited Igboland few years ago to identify with our elders, and were welcome with open arms. We are struggling our of hardship caused by the Biafra war, but we are gradually picking ourselves up and gathering all Igbos where ever they reside all over the world. We are aware of the crises in your country going on right now and we are with you guys. May Chukwuokike Abiama save you all and all our people living in that Land iseeee! We love you all❤❤❤❤
