Newberg Canine Rehab offers rehab for dogs with Hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy is good for dogs that have suffered an injury and need rehab either post surgery or in lieu of surgery, are older and have arthritic issues, weight loss, strength training & conditioning, and general exercising. Along with hydrotherapy, we also offer acupuncture, agility training with fit balls, grooming, & daycare and boarding.

Have you ever head of the Anti-Knuckling Device? We used it in an underwater treadmill for 10 weeks with my 11-year-old Irish Setter. He had begun knuckling on his right hind leg post L5-S1 dorsal laminectomy. Although the AKD did not "cure" him of his knuckling, it did help greatly in strengthening his atrophied leg muscles. As an added bonus it allowed him to enjoy a pretty normal life for his last three years and to walk without knuckling.
