Great review.
Thank you I appreciate it ☺️
It itches me to buy it, the only thing which is holding me back is the un-even looking of the front facing side of the backpack which more or less I've encountered in all the 15/16" of this model from both Nomatic/Gomatic. I also can see some differences. In the NOMATIC version, the water bottle holder stays inside, and instead of mesh, it was a ballistic/water resistance-like material but here I can see it's quite different! That uneven look and lack of branded zippers is a zonck for that price point! Oh and BTW, I hope you get your channel monetized ASAP
Yeah it is a good backpack though, pretty comfortable I must say and with the bit of expansion, you can get that bit of extra room. The price does reflect the quality and I feel it’s certainly a robust backpack. The little downside was the water bottle pocket yeah, but honestly till now I still haven’t had any issues and holding up strong still. Oh thanks man! We’re nearly there at 1K to apply 🤭 not expecting much but hopefully can fund some stuff 😅 appreciate that support! There is a giveaway at 1K subs so make sure to look out for that 🤭
I noticed that a change made from last year's version is the water bottle holder is now external, previously you put the water bottle inside the bag from that pocket you pulled the mesh from. Do you happen to know if it's stil possible to store the water bottle in that pocket or not?
Don’t think so now, it’s just the mesh lining that you pull out and store it. You can’t fit anything in to that pocket.
@@WilliamChuong that's unfortunate, thanks for the info!
Does it look cheap? Amd iis it heavy to carry?
Doesn’t really look cheap no, this looks moderate compared to other bags that’s on the high street markets tbh it’s quite light too.
Thank you so much for the video, I have the v2 and will give v1 to my son
You’re welcome! Glad it was helpful ☺️
Good video comparison. Any chance you can compare the V2 vs Bellroy lite sling mini please?
I’ll do my best to source the Bellroy lite 🤭

What an intro ❤
Nice review and comparison, thanks. I’m getting the V1 for my IEM setup.
Thanks man, I actually use my V1 as a medical pouch now 🤭
Is this bag large enough for a 3-5 day trip?
Yeah 3-4 days is fine I’d say, 5 could be stretching it.
I got one!!
Nice! This torch is so handy
Thanks for your review! But the only concern I have is whether the padded shoulder strap sits on the shoulder, because it seems that the padding is not adjustable as it is on other alpaka bags, and it can be annoying in use...
Yeah no problem man! Yeah I did see that may be annoying for some, I haven’t had an issue with it tbh
@@WilliamChuong Cheers mate! I'm going to buy a navy blue one and see how it goes.
thanks for the video canill the mesenger be wore ảound the hip? thanks
Yeah I’m sure it can but I’m not sure if this is available anymore 👀 the collection is gone
Can this possibly fit an xt-50 with a 35mm lense attached? I feel like it might but not 100% sure.
I think it would fit but could be bit tight. because of the lens only, the body is so similar to the X100VI so should be fine but the 35mm protrudes slightly and is slightly bigger. thats the concern I think.
The fact the attachment points are made of rope material in the back,Has me worried about overall longevity……this rope could Frey or tear and then the bag would be useless
To be fair the rope attachment points do feel quite sturdy, it’s quite stiff almost with done coating. I do feel this can last quite a long time. Doesn’t feel like the type to frey quite easily. But obviously time will tell.
I would have to respectfully disagree
How much?
how tall are you?
I’m 170cm
@@WilliamChuong great.. thanks
Nice! Can't wait for mine!

Tomtoc should make a ryan air size bag it would be an instant hit ❤❤❤
You’re right, you might be on to something 👀
Useful video. Thanks 👍
How does it compare to the Vertical Sling? I love the magnetic clips
I feel it’s not too far off each other but the shape of the metro sling v2 is better. The handle and the front pocket is better too. 🤭
Just got my v2 today and i can confidently say it is better than the vertical sling in almost every way. The front pocket is much more accessible to get your hand into. The main compartment just feels like it can hold more. The key tether and the straps are so much easier to quickly remove. Imo huge upgrade over the vertical sling
@cg-lk2bz love it! 🥰

do you think you can you fit gym supplemental canisters in that bag?…maybe say at least two?
By canisters you mean tub? If you’re talking about the size of a 30 serving preworkout tubs then yeah you can fit 2 in here no problem. But if it’s like a tub of protein for size reference then maybe 1 tub could fit in here. I’m not sure the term canister maybe it’s US way for calling it tubs but hope that reference helps you out bro 👍🏻
Can it fit dslr camera and 11 inch tablet?
Unfortunately it doesn’t but there is one called the Go Sling, which can fit an 11” iPad and if you remove the lense of the DSLR, you should be able to fit the body and lens fine. 👍🏻🫡
@@WilliamChuong thank you!
Great content!
Really appreciate it thank you
Can you let me know if this sling bag can be used as a waist/fanny pack, please? What is the diameter/circumference when you set the strap to the minimum? Thank you very much in advance.
74-122cm (29-48in) this is the shoulder strap listed on the website. It is possible to use in waist bag mode yes.
Can we wash it?
Probaly by hand wash, but I’d recommend spot clean really. Does depend how bad it gets.
Hi Which colour is this ? On website there are black and green colour
This was taupe but it’s been sold out for a long time now actually and it hasn’t been restocked. It was available during the release of it for a few days
Do you think it would be an ideal bag for university students like us 🥺, because i need to pack lots of books and food prep, thanks so much
Perfect for students, if you got a laptop that’s 13” 14” it’s perfect too. Lots of space and quickly can access it every time you change classes.
Thank you as well for supporting ☺️
@@WilliamChuong thanks so much, i was afraid of the roll one 😂, bc it will make my books crease 🥹
@thiyenvytran6828 yeah you have plenty of room, it’s very tall in height 🤭
Thanks for the Video i been thinking about buying this one
You’re welcome 👍🏻 if you use the link in the bio it will help a brotha out 🙏🏻
Can you do a review for the Nike rpm backpack? It’s very similar to this one
Yeah I’ll try and get that in at some point 👍🏻 thanks for the suggestion
Mine only came with one washer ?
I think it’s best to reach out to their customer service. It’s been a while since I made this video so they probably could have reduced it down to 1 now. However if I find out I’ll reply to your comment again.👍🏻

What's the length and radius of this jacket when its packed? I want to buy one but not sure if it will fit in my small bag
It’s like 7inches in height and radius basically 1.5inch. It’s pretty compact to be honest and will fit any small bag for the most part
loving the video and editing bro!!! Keep it up
Thanks for your kind words 🙏🏻
How many Liters this bag?
It’s a 25L capacity, with Length: 46cm. Height: 30cm. Width: 24.5cm. Hope it helps bro 👊🏻
Glad I found your comparison. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you from the bottom half of the island. 😁
Ohhhh hey! Hahaha that’s soo cool thank you so much! 😂
Great review
Thanks alot I appreciate it
What is the straw made of? Plastic or metal?
The straw is plastic, so make sure you don’t use anything hot. I nearly made that mistake cause I forgot there was a straw 😅
@@WilliamChuong is it plastic or silicone?
@@ToniG-bn3rk the straw is plastic
Bout ye!! I've just ordered a V2 tracker for my orbitkey 👍👍
Class! That’s great mucker! It’s a wee handy device and all like 👍🏻
Top review 👍
Thanks I really appreciate it
How to fold?
Just roll it up 🤭
@@WilliamChuongThanks! I accidentally bought the women's one instead of the men's one 😂
Haha just wear that one you’ll be fine 🤭
I can provide you with excellent quality bags

Thank you very much for the interesting review! do you think it could fit a small (0,5l) water bottle in addition to a phone?
Tbh I think it will fit but it will take up all the room, pretty much like a size of a regular bottle of water. I tried it and it’s pretty tight after waters so definitely not ideal for this bag. Although if you have a bottle with a clip you can get a carabiner and attach it to the strap 👍🏻 hope that helps
@@WilliamChuong THank you very much for the quick answer, much appreciated!
