I just purchased a use k40+ compatible with lightburn when I try to make cuts it burns a straight line to the next cut laser stays on the whole time how do I fix that

I know that it is not a place to ask you about such, but after consulatation with friends i have no idea what to do - In the Arduino IDE while loading of the code to D1 mini i receive one annoying error - " Timed out waiting for packet header " - Me and friends do not know what to do. Arduino Forums also do not have answer. Full text: *error: esptool.FatalError: Failed to connect to ESP8266: Timed out waiting for packet header*

I know this is old but you totally forgot about the fact that the module needs to be powered, now from where? if its inside the computer you cant connect it to anything because the PC is turned off
You can turn on USB power from BIOS and you can simply power it from your computer USB, even it is turned off, or just use any external phone charger.

I got the relay turnnig on and off remtotly . But I dont know wich wires I should connect on my HP DesTop 400. I know at the main switch there are 6 wires .1 red, 1 black, 1green, and 3 whites . Could you help PLEASE?
Maybe your button have also RGB led so that would require extra 3 wires. Just follow the path of wires on motherboard or button and exclude the wires that are used to power the led.

Hey there ! I am having issues with the key "USB" , every time I plug it into my pc it states USB malfunctioned, therefore I haven't been able to use it. I have been looking around for information but honestly I can't find a resolution to this issue. The USB is marked it says lihuiyu studio labs - 2019.08.15 .If you are familiar with this issue what would you recommend me to do?. nice videos I have the exact same laser engraver but the brand is preenex. I'll appreciate it if your can help me out with this one !, Thank you!.
Just follow this video and the steps. You don't need that USB at all.
@@IndoorTechnology I followed the steps on your video, I installed whisperer but when I try to hit initialize or attempt to control the laser machine it doesn't work at all. I get this error message. laser USB device not found (libusb driver may not be installed). I will appreciate it if you know what would be the resolution to this issue, thank you!
I tried to delete the usb port from device manager, although it never showed up . I tried all... Only thing I notice is my windows version is W11, and apparently the program works up to windows 10.

@@IndoorTechnology yes that's exactly what I did, The web site also asks me to do the same thing but the driver never gets installed. My computer seems to be unable to read the USB connector from the machine. I honestly don't know what else to do . I tried it all.

Hi, I'm just wondering if the only steps with grounding is to check the power plug, and sand the little grounding bracket. You don't need to earth the machine, do you? The safety part of your video put the fear of God into me, that's all. I can't wait to check out your video on centering the beam. Great video, so thanks!!!
You sand there and put that bracket to make sure the grounding (earth) from your plug is connected to the case - so in case your power supply or the wire from laser, that have lots of voltage is failing and giving voltage to the case, you will be safe - but anyway, your plugs must have grounding, it is specified in the video.

If you're opening K40 Whisperer and clicking on "Initialize Laser Cutter," but nothing happens, there are a few things you should check. First, make sure your cable connections are secure. You should also check if your computer recognizes the USB connection, as you may have an issue with your operating system. If you're still having trouble, try installing K40 Whisperer on another computer to see if it works there. If you're still having issues, it's possible that the M2 Nano motherboard has a problem. In that case, you may need to consider replacing it. These are your options.

apple server had in the past this system integrated in the machine (W.O.L) but that was the only machine who had it. --I always dreamed to be ablate do that manipulation with my iMac and it seem you came up with the solution -- however there is something I mise once you assemble the Diy with the 2 part I have to Hooke it up to the Arduino program it and remove it put in the computer (well isolated) and no need the Arduino device any longer -- is it correct
I bought AK 40 engraver and the laser tube is wrapped in plastic. Should I remove the plastic from the laser tube I didn’t know if it was for packing

Great video. I just got my k40. How are you setting the focus for thicker material vs thinner material? Also, have you tried a rotary on the k40? Finally, have you added a knozzle for air assist? If so what pump and nozzle did you get? Thanks. After about 7 videos I finally found one to truly get me started.

Would the same thing work with a raspberry pi zero wifi? With my limited knowledge I don't see why it would not work, but I ask just in case. Very nice video btw :)
You can definitely turn on your PC with a raspberry pi zero, but you cannot use the same code, as on Raspberry PI u need to put some sort of LINUX. Also, you have 40 GPIO pins on pi zero ... you could do much more complex projects. So technically, yes, you can do this, but not using this tutorial and code. All the best!

It's about 3 years since I have it, even the video it's posted later. The laser tube that i changed in this video is still working, everything is perfect. Not suggesting that will be the case for every k40, but I still use it. I was cutting some christmas ornaments when you posted this message :D

Maybe you should remove plastic around filter. Plastic is very bad,especially for cats. Gives them skin problems.
I have purchased one and I have two pendrives: One with the software and the another one is a USB KEY. What is it used for?
