Bo this was very informative and helpful. Sorry to hear about your daughter sir. I just prayed for her and will continue as she comes to my mind. Love you guys!
Omg what happened to your daughter?
How would you did that trench in Texas?
The clips are supposed to go into the tabs in the fixture itself. Incorrect install
Trash!!
You know he’s a old timer when he calls the neutrals grounds 😂
Except over time and extended use. The terminals can loosen and arc and start fires. They loosen as current fluctuates through the circuit. Electrical loads increase current on the outlet and this induces increased heat. When metal heats, it expands. The heating and cooling over time can cause those connections to fail as the conductor can eventually loosen itself. Then once lose is the arcing issue. Using the screw terminals properly, will clamp the connection in place with a torque rating set to contain expansion and not strip the the terminal. Hire a professional for everyone’s safety. If your pro does this he cares about being fast. There’s a cost puramud and the three points but you can’t have all three. If you’re fast and good you are expensive, so if you’re fast and cheap there may be reasons. DIY please don’t take the short cuts.
The kind of outlet were you just stick a wire in a hole is not good if you're going to have a lot of voltage draw on that receptacle. It will get hot and ultimately caused a fire. I am an electrician myself. Use the kind that has the screws and wrap the wire around the screw to get more surface area touching.
I don't understand the dip them in water to put them together and then glue how does the glue and the water work together
The guy who put in our buried drip system had an old chainsaw and used it running very slow and used it to cut a trench he cut out a v dropped the pipe in and put the wedge back over it. Not sure how hard it is on the saw but man it was fast and slick looking from my perspective. He did about 175 ft of pipe in the ground in about 30 minutes.
External sprinkler and I’m done in 5 minutes
My fridge indicates when I need a filter change, and it only needs it every couple of years.
LMFAO
She is adorable!!! ❤
Number 3 is the most important item on your list!!!
This is how my dad taught me!!!! Thanks for the reminder!!!
Thank you for the buying advice. In regards to your daughter, a Korean doctor of acupuncture/herbalist is very worth checking out.
NEVER DO THAT!
Kid's art on the fridge is the best kitchen decor. Any fancy designer is welcome to come at me.
No thanks.
Maybe you can yell loader
Avoid the push method and use the terminals.
if circuit is off. doesn’t matter if ground goes first or last. if you’re working live. ground is removed first and reconnected last.
Even hooks get loose, and they need replacing like every 20 years (sometimes (on the outlets that you have to plug and unplug alot)). That bite will need replacing earlier (and its not that solid). Then this guy cuts the wires -- this is going in the wrong direction.
Always have an inspection done and check the place out IN PERSON before ever finalizing anything. I have seen too many buy or rent site unseen regrets. One was a young college age girl who got an apartment in a very bad area which was in horrible condition. I have also seen a lot of scams where people post a sale or rent for cheaper as if it is their own for money. Get an inspection before considering buying or renting, regardless if it is new or old. Make sure you have curtains or blinds. Locate the nearest hospital er as well as grocery stores and anything else important.
Wear goggles. Little bits of debris in your eye causes Emergency room visits…I know…..😢😢😢😢
Most densely packed useful advice + adorable dad-daughter combo effort I have seen in some time.
You’re a Great Dad I’m subscribing. I pray for your daughter and you and your family to be well. I got into a car accident in 2022 and I haven’t been the same since. A guy ran a red light and t boned me, totaled my car, damaged my neck, back, and arm badly. Lawyers tried to say everything to get out of paying. Allstate just settled and after the lawyer and dr bills are paid I get less than them and have I have to try and put my whole life back together physically. My husband and I just retired and this has changed our lives after working hard our whole life. My prayers are with you all ❤
How Many backstabbing "electricians" do we have to watch? The fact he thinks he's showing us a new product is a red flag.
When it doubt wrap it up… It never fails
Les Schwab lol hell no…. Discount tire is the only place I will buy tires.
Great video...
These are not a reliable GFI.
Terrible idea
Installing a loop of Dripline and covering with mulch would take less than an hour and would efficiently water the plants using a fraction of the water. Also, it would cost less and prevent soaking your deck posts every time you water.
Just install a 3-light vanity light. Buy one that looks nice and allows you to put Edison bulbs in it. Don’t buy integrated LED crap. One light light bulb won’t be enough to properly light up your bathroom. For me, a single 800-lumen bulb is not going to be enough to even light a small bathroom up. 2,000 lumens is the minimum recommendation light output in my opinion.
I mean, if you’re comfortable going to sleep, knowing you installed that go for it
Gramps is that a Bryant panel? An a dollar general receptical , now get ya a Walmart fire extinguisher.
Nope.
As an electrician you just saved people 200 bucks minimum. Good for you, I hate to charge so much for common knowledge but time is money.
Look man ima be honest I usually don’t comment under nothing lol , but I had to change my first tire today and watching this got me right and I got my tire up less then 15 minutes appreciate you boss 💪🏾
I’ve seen electrical folks say not to use those due to wires coming loose over time
Oh no, what if you live in Arizona and don’t follow day light savings 😮😮😮😮😮
Change air cleaner a couple times a year? oh its sponsored by NAPA.
They use those clips on speaker wires for years. That’s where they should have kept them.
Thank you, Internet dad! ❤
I WAS ABOUT TO SEE THE BRAND OF YOUR COAT, BUT YOU HAD BEEN SHAKING LIKE A VIBRATOR.
You’re the mouth with you could probably
So the green and the white wires are grounds?
