  4:58 Disagree with this point about no point in having stoppage time if the scoreboard is super lopsided. Goal difference could potentially be the decider in which teams advance past the group stage and which don't. At the 2012 U-17 Women's World Cup, the teams that advanced from "death" Group C was determined solely based on how many goals the top 3 teams could score against The Gambia (because those 3 teams tied each other in all remaining matches). USA won 6-0, France won 10-2, and North Korea won 11-0. So France & North Korea advanced whereas the USA were sent home in group stage, because they scored 2 goals fewer than France did. Stoppage time could make all the difference.

  The US team was celebrating against Thai team but it was not necessary because they were winning 13-0 against a much less skilled nation.
