I. Nobody gives a shit wether or not you spent money on music. II. People who make ritual dark ambient do it usually not to become popstars or to make money. Spend your money somewhere else fanboy or don't. But don't expect anyone tp praise you because you are a good little consumer who keeps the GDP growing. This has nothing to do with art or the urge to express yourself.

Nobody in this world makes dark ambient or ritual music for a living because there is no money to be made with such obscure music. Do you donate money to any hobby football teams in the club league or to your local sailing club or the nearest golf course so that the players there have something to eat? Of course you don't do that, because why would you finance other people's HOBBIES? Why should music be any different? Millions play football, go sailing or play golf but only a very few make a living out of it, music is not different. Millions make music but only very few are able to make a living out of it and in most cases these bands and musicians SUCK because they have exchanged an authentic expression for superficial commercial crap. If you can live from your music, your music is most likely pointless.
