I enjoyed your collage glue-book, but have a suggestion, if you don’t mind? Whatever you are using for glue is leaving a lot of lumps and bumps-which take attention off of the images and all of your cutting, too. Perhaps look into using adhesive which leaves a nice, smooth surface, so we can better see, and appreciate, your collages!

Did you have a theme for your journal?
@pruenzo10 ай бұрын
Hi. Each weekend I harvest magazines and during the week I put bits and pieces together into collages. I try to work quickly and not over think the process. So my monthly journals don’t have a theme although I find that I do try to work to the season we’re in down here in New Zealand. When I’m travelling I keep a travel journal which I write in a lot and it’s way more personal. Thanks for dropping in.
@creativebeanart10 ай бұрын
Interesting process.....I would find this far too complicated. I've got my magazine images into focal points (large and small), colour/texture pages and then my own handmade collages by colour. But then I don't have a lot of papers, and I'm trying to deliberately keep in that way, as too many supplies are overwhelming. I look forward to watching some of your other videos.
@pruenzo10 ай бұрын
You’re right; it is complicated. But it is tailor made to the different ways I collage. When I’m doing detailed collaging in colouring books, I need to find specific shades, textures and patterns of colours. We each have to find what suits our own needs best. Soon I’m going to have a major clear out!

Actually I set up small Facebook group called Colouring the Whole Book and we encourage each other to complete books. Often it’s your least favourite pages that turn out to be the most rewarding. That’s the reason that I colour the book in page order so it also feels like I’m achieving something. These days I’m working more in collaging, sometimes in colouring books too. Thanks for popping in.
