What a travesty. Very dangerous and irresponsible by the directors. All for competition, what hypocrisy. Go ahead, put your kids at risk of life threatening cancer for the win.   I’m genuinely convinced that this is musically the most insane high school marching show of all time. Musically, this shouldn’t be possible. I mean FFS there are FRESHMAN DOING THIS!!!! LITERAL 13 - 14 YEAR OLDS. This shouldn’t be possible. Bare in mind some of these kids only have 4 years of instrument experience. Take that. Soak that in. And realize that this band is genuinely comprised of musical prodigies

  correction: The soprano solo is supposed to be in 5/4 and not 3/4. I had forgot to double check that section but the beaming and phrasing of notes fit together better in that 5/4 feel.. also the drum majors are conducting in 5/4 lol.
