Do you need to wash out the grease first
@bhansen9468 YES! I used paper towels, cotton swabs and blew out with compressed air. Grease will lessen the viscosity of whatever oil you put in.

Dont run the Milwaukee batt all the way dead it will ruin it ,the batt cast more then a car the original wi battery burned up wow that 12 volts kept up with the neighbors 450 dollar traxxess
Huh? 😄 Milwaukee what? I took out the stock setup if you are talking about the stock battery, I ran it in a race, and it did well, but I opted for a larger esc motor combo.
I bought my car from goodwill 8 bucks I put my 12 volt Milwaukee batt on it keeps right up with the big boys rum time over half hour at full speed
Put spacers in between the shocks in rear to get more shock
I feel the same way, make it better that’s the fun part of it.

4s which is the limit for racing. Have not tried 6s yet...
I just ordered the same serpent truggy and supposed to get it this Thursday. Im excited because it looks awesome, has great reviews and was less than $400 shipped but I also hear a lot about the lack of parts availability. Regardless, great video and hope to see more videos on the Serpent truggy in the future.
It's a nice truck! Plenty of power. A little heavy but that leads to sturdiness. Check out DeSoto.com for Serpent parts. You should be able to find parts for this. My 811bE? Not so much. Good luck man. 👍

I do not have a code number off hand but if you search for 1/10 scale rod ends TLR on ebay or amazon, they should pull up. They are a little tight and a bitch to get on, but once they are on they wont come off. There is a tool you can buy to make it a little easier, but it will scuff them a bit.

I dont know about the 001 but the 002 has a bracket that locks it in.

Yo! So we got TLR 1/10 scale rod ends [ebay] Carbon fiber kit [makerfire.com] You will need a front kickup plate for the kit to work. On ebay there's a guy selling 3d prints. Look up 104002 front kickup plate. They are white. LOSI 1/10 Soft Springs Change Shock oil to 35wt to compensate I have a Castle Mamba X in there now...but honestly could be okay with stock on 2 or 3s Spektrum SR135 Rcvr Generic servo for now Any aluminum servo saver on ebay would work. Search for 104002 servo saver Watch my video on battery mod tray. Super simple to allow for shorty packs. Pro line buggy wing Be sure to pull all diffs out, clean, and use diff oil Get a screw kit and replace them all with hexes. Will make life much easier. The chinese screws strip easily. Good luck man!

ProTek or GensAce 2s shorty pack LiPo. I converted to bullet leads. Hope this helps!

Nice video! I use Cobra for novice racing aswell realy like it! Which i had seen this video before i changed my diffs hade saved me some time to know which screws to undo before i started :-)

What's your basher set up for this?
@cwatson42785 backflip LP tires, 50/200/30 diff oils. Removed swaybars, shocks/suspension is fairly stock..replaced busted pistons as needed & maybe thicker shock oil but can't remember weight. Heavier oils drastically improve acceleration & throttle control. I'm hitting big air-triple backflips. Tried a few quad backflips but haven't landed cleanly 👍🏾

Hey bro sorry for the late reply...been busy. Just running some Hobao Racing Stock Wheels for street runs. When I start racing offroad it will depend on the track. When the time comes I will post a video stating what I will run for that particular race. Be safe and thanks for watching!

Sorry about the bumping, Im the guy on your left (red/yellow MP10Te). was my first race, and Im in tunnel vision mode just trying to stay on the track, let alone being aware of the other cars! hahaha...going to take a while to get used to this.

I could but I don't have a fan on the motor. The motor gets hot as is. No room under that body to fit a fan 😩 I enjoy it as is.
The car should do fine! I found the ball joints pop off too easily and the front CVDs are weak. These are easily fixed by replacing those parts though

What did you figure out?
First, I need to use the GoPro app more 😄 I needed to reformat which I had forgotten how to do. Got it done though. Bluetooth wouldnt connect to the app at all. Figured out you have to delete the bluetooth connection on your phone and reconnect. Also found out the GoPro purposely chops up videos at around 4.5 to 5 mins. Apparently its a failsafe if the camera has an issue you won't lose a bunch of footage. If only I could figure out the overheating part 🤔
@@redrocketracing7617 yeah my videos get chopped around the 8:45 mark. Annoying especially if a heat gets postponed due to people forgetting their transponders, battery or is late to the heat. Bluetooth only works up to around 20-30', which is why I sit near my GoPro.
