Looks so good! You using Stooge 3 links for the build?
Thanks. More to be revealed later😉 and 🤞🏻I get what I’m after.
Im considering transforming my hellcat into a semonbone cruiser 😅 i love my seemendeed and cant wait to see what you do with this!
Thanks. Pretty much what I’m doing with this too.
*Lookin forward to seein how you build around it!* 🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️🤙🏽
Thanks. Me too. Some parts are taking a while, that’s for sure.
🤘🏻🤘🏻super sick bro! You got me laughing my ass off with that dam intro! 🤣
Thanks mate. I couldn’t help but use it. It is just so good and natural. I love it. 💯😁
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks legend.💯
Not a fan, of that deck, looks like a back yard deck... a lot of wead shapes and lumps and bumps.... 'There' . 🎁🫤
That’s fair. Each to their own. Appreciate you taking to time and sharing your thoughts.
I've got an original semendeed one from glyph. And the curves of the deck let you lock in really well. Once you ride one you understand why it's shaped the way it is.!
@@Staticmaggot89 I rode one of Als builds with his deck quite a while ago. Just couldn’t afford it back then. 😉 I cannot wait.
Hard disagree on that, I personally know Al, and also recognise the skill, and experience used on coming up with that specific deck shape. W concave is throughout the middle for stiffness (the “lump”) as you call it, plus the bacon concave helps lock your feet in. Certainly it’s not for everyone- but for its purpose well built, and Flowstate have improved on it even more, the upper and lower carbon fiber layers really make it a race board.
cant wait to see the build! what an epic looking deck from the team!
It is a thing of beauty😉
Glorious deck. I've got an OG Semendeed and it's a beast on the track. Flowstate have done an awesome job with the new Semenbone!!
Have to agree. They have respected everything Al did and improved it with their manufacturing processes and workmanship. Can’t wait to get it out there.
@@CraigTaylorYT can't wait to see your upgrade!
Looks soo sweet!
It looks amazing. So nice mate. As you know from the amazing ZFG esk8 decks you have too.
You're gonna love, mate. Excited to see what you make out of it... mine will come back to life soon enough too. 😄
Can’t wait to get it going soon mate. 😁
So can i wear it on road too, or is it better for offroad
I wear it for both at times. Any protection is better than none at all.
... I received mine 2 days ago. Fits tight like it is supposed to. Best bang for the buck IMHO. Honda CRF 300 Rally. Jeff
That’s awesome. Mine has been tested a few times now 😉 Ride safe legend.
Hey man, I'm looking at whether I should buy the envy or if I should save the extra money to get a hurricane. I have a v5 right now, but I want more range, and the roads are rough at a few places.... what would you recommend?
I love the Envy. Such a great board and ideal for commuting. The Hurricane will definitely handle the rougher stuff and terrible road surfaces. If you can handle the extra saving, then I don’t think you will be disappointed with a hurricane. Just comes down to what you can afford and specs you find the most important. I love them both, but I still love riding the envy a lot.
@CraigTaylorYT okay, I have the money for the hurricane, so I think i'm going to go with that since I'll probably use it to get around college! I just thought it'd be best to ask someone who's ridden both before making a final decision! Thanks!
@@stellerate the Hurricane is awesome. You will love it. Make sure you use Scott Davies or Drew Elia’s discount code or link from their reviews. Will give you a small discount. 😉
Love my envy! I have over 1300 miles on it and tossed the gear drive upgrade with voyager motors on it at 600 miles, so its been a trustee steed since!
That’s awesome. Great to hear things like that. I must admit, it’s been so good and reliable so far. Absolutely loving mine too.
Great review man. You are so lucky ♥
Thanks so much. It’s such a nice set up. Am looking forward to getting my own in a few months.
Here in the USA the Acedeck board is nowhere near the price of the other two. Seems like the clear winner for value when you consider that.
whats an " E Skate Con ? " never heard of it .
Esk8con is an annual event in Las Vegas dedicated to electric skateboarding. There are heaps of vendors, racing and group rides. It’s a great event.
haha thats 1:24 exactly what just happened to me, had to evade for a scooter, i fell and my elbow pad slipped up and my elbow still got hurt...... still not sure if its better to get motocross protectors or if there is something better suitable for skaters
i just checked out the fox website but there are a lot of negative reviews about the d30 kneepads that they break :/
but carve like a demon? ....angels take much sharper turns, and they even look gracefully doing so
the looking graceful part sounds kinda gay to me to but in a race its not about looks, its about who crosses the finish line first
furst time i came across this channul. i really didnt expect the man to ride the board at full speed xD respect man, dont judge a book on its cover i should really not anymore, even being 37 myself.
Well done Craig!
Thanks legend.💯🛹🦘
Paul here I am in Michigan and is it possible to get a mountain board, with the same power and trucks with the mountain board wheels like 6 inch 7 inch wheels
You can get similar power but you’re not getting a mountainboard out of those components. It’s a street board that can do some light unsealed surfaces with its torque vectoring feature. Mountainboard you’d be looking at an angled deck and top mounted battery with channel trucks or something similar and for off road riding the way a mountainboard is meant to be used you want at least 8” wheels and bindings.
Great video ! Do the honeycomb wheel fit on the standard trucks ??
Not 100% sure as I haven’t taken them apart yet. I’m currently moving, so when I unpack in a couple of weeks, I’ll have a look.
Whats the deck size, what's the truck size, what's the battery wh, How many modes are there
What do you weigh?
92kg or 202pounds.
Have you tried the Hoyt Dadbod or Cascade? Great boards with great acceleration....I haven't found anything more stable and carvy at the same time. I can cruise at 40 with no issues...stable as hell. I'd like to try the Radium though...looks great and obviously well built. Nice review!
Thanks. I rode the Dadbod in Vegas. It’s very nice, but a real hassle to get it in Australia. Love the trucks on the Hoyt, really stable.
I'm having a lot of trouble chooseing between a Tynee Stinger and the Ultra X Pro. I'm 91 kg and 6 foot 1 tall. I wish I could test ride both. Any suggestions or opinions relating to these choices?
I am 93kg’s and love the Ultra X Pro. Would be my choice
Congrats on 1K 🥂
Thanks so much. 💯❤️
Those two belts look like they’ll grab all kinds of dirt and rocks flung up by the tires. Do you think that’s a problem?
Most boards I ride are without belt guards. If the dirt and rocks can get in there, I always think it’s best to leave it open so the stuff can get out again. The material these belts are made of should take a pretty decent amount of neglect. I’ve seen the Radium crew bombing dirt trails without any issues at all.
Other than racing does a board like this really have a place in your quiver? Pretty huge, heavy and wide. For getting around really far maybe but I don't see this being a day to day board
These were not made for racing. These were designed and made originally for general riding. The style was meant to be F1 inspired. Fr what I’ve been told, they are making a race version for esk8con for next year. Under foot, it’s not heavy, and it is the best riding board. There is definitely a place for it.
@@CraigTaylorYT Out of curiosity where do you do most of your riding and on what surfaces? This board looks beast for paved bike trails and streets but probably best not for the dirt.
@@Erroct1 mostly sealed trails for me. I have seen the Radium guys doing lots of dirt trails on these boards though. I didn’t want to get this dirty or trashed up as I had borrowed it.
Been waiting for this review. Great job Mate! I own a Mach 1, mind blowing board!! Worth every cent!!! I’m 6’2, size 13 feet and the deck is perfect for Me. The drop down locks me in. Buy one! You won’t touch your other boards again, so sell them to fund this lol
Thanks so much. Glad you liked it. I will definitely have one. I missed the Genesis, but I won’t miss the next ones. You’re so lucky, and I have to agree, totally mind blowing.
The colour scheme for the next batch looks sick with the racing red accents, want very much but my bank account is saying NO, NO, NO... Lord it is hard being a responsible adult.
I hear that. I hate having to be a grown up. 🤦♂️
Ahhh its amazing <3
It truely is.😁
Another excellent review Craig, love to see it!
Thanks so much. Greatly appreciated.
What is “low mode”? Are you talking about mode 1 on the Hoyt puck? FYI this isn’t the same as “gears” on most mainstream boards. Even in mode 1, it will hit top speed. The only difference between modes 1, 2, and 3, is that the puck will cap the max throw in 1 or 2 (mode 3 is full 0-100%). 2 will cap it around 66%, and 1 somewhere less (I never use 1). However just because the throttle throw is capped does NOT mean it won’t hit top speed. Due to the way VESC-based controllers process throttle inputs, all it does is effectively change the acceleration (though even that’s not entirely accurate). Think of it like this: often people (including racers) won’t use mode 3 because they rarely, if ever, shove the throttle to 100% and keep it there. That whole part of the throttle is basically unused. What they do instead is throw the throttle somewhere between 0-66%. So by using mode 2, they’re getting that entire 0-66% across the entire throttle, giving highly nuanced speed control. This is WAY better than most other remotes that just use “gears” as speed caps.
You’re completely correct about the puck and the modes. The scaling of mode 1 is super comfortable to ride with for cruising. Mode 3 is all go. The intention of this board originally was an everyday rider, so that’s how I wanted to review it. Thanks for the concise feedback. Really appreciated.
I feel the 12s6p battery is plenty big enough as sticking a monster battery in there would make it crazy heavy. 17kgs is already a bit of a lump + with 12A charging, juicing up doesn't take that long
I have to agree completely.
Loving hearing you on those trails mate! You sound pretty happy!!
This thing blew my mind. Just so nice to ride. Can’t wait to get one of my own. 💯🛹
Oh my god yessssss love this thing fantastic review brother!!!!!
It is a thing of beauty, and wow, it rips. 💯⚡️😆 thanks legend.
You know you're not helping my marriage, right?!
That’s a you problem.😉 sorry brother.
No wife happy life.
@@rmarlin there is that. 😉🤣
⚡️🤩🤩⚡️ *Dayummm*
Completely agree.💯😉
How would you compare the carving to the evolve?
DKP are always nice to carve with. So this will be a little less carvy, but I didn’t adjust it enough. When I get my own one, I hope I can share some more info. But the way it was, I loved it.
How would you compare the wheels to something like the mad wheels?
I love the mad wheels. These wheels are amazing too, but heavy. Much better range from mad wheels. The rubber compound is super grippy, and the diameter is larger, so the ride comfort is slightly better. It is hard to compare directly as I would need to try the mad wheels on this board. The suspension, adds to the ride comfort and makes these wheels feel even more amazing. Sorry I’m not super clear, cause there is a lot going on in this board.
this board is for professional and or daily commuter, but for the price i'll opt for acedeck s3 or wowgo 3e
Yeah the price is abit high for me too so I opted for a raith skateboard instead
can you use it for road too?
... Use it anytime there is a chance you could have an impact, anywhere. .
Wish it came with the red design. Looks like the ultimate street board. 3k euro is alot but it seems it's the best
Well didnt check shipping or import tax in Europe but.
@@yohvh im actually curious too..
This version was the first. The design is yet to be finalised for the new ones in the next batch. It is amazing to ride.
@@yohvh I hear that. Bringing boards out to Australia from the US or Europe is the same.
Massive review here
Thanks legend. Really appreciate it. 💯❤️
Radium will absolutely b my next board that I buy💯. I luv how tough and the beating it can take. Opens up a way of riding I’ve always dreamed of. Great review. 🔥😎🤘🤘
Thanks mate. Hope you’re well. I couldn’t agree more. Can’t wait to have my own one now. ⏰
You won't do it..
1st
Thanks for watching and congrats for 1st comment.
that was my first choice for starter board but acedeck won't ship to my state so i opted for a cheaper WowGo 3E
When do the trucks release?
From what I’ve heard they have taken a lot of preorders already. I’ve heard they may be shipping early next month. I think you can sign up for notifications for next orders being taken from the website.
