LastCastOutdoors

Fishing has changed my life. Ever since my dad took me fishing when I was only a couple years old, I always saw that fishing was meant for me. I’ve always had a strong passion for fishing and it’s never gone away. After getting a job a Sportsman’s Warehouse. I was able to fully commit to fishing, and I learned a lot about fishing, especially from all of the Fishing KZreadrs that have inspired to start a KZread Channel. So I can learn more about fishing, and have some awesome subscribers, and most importantly to always look back at all the good times I had with fishing. Thank you for watching my videos! It means a lot to me! If your enjoy the videos. Please Subscribe and Comment!

    Have you ever been inside the tent on a warm / hot afternoon and either used a thermometer or could just tell that it was about the same temperature or much warmer inside the tent?

  • @lastcastoutdoors
    @lastcastoutdoors11 күн бұрын

    No it’s usually cold when I use it. But if the sun is out while I’m ice fishing it will warm up and stay warm because of the thermal insulation. But never been too hot in it

    I don't think you know how to handle the fish well if they swim off like that. Glad your out there catching fish, but learn how to handle your fish better. Make sure you have wet hands when you touch them and remove your trebles if they are being an issue. Maybe pinch the barbs.

  • @waguni

    Everything you told me to do I already do! And I was fishing mid day when it was hot and sunny and if you didn’t know rainbow trout are not a fan of hot weather out of all the trout I deal with in the summer rainbow trout are the hardest to release in hot weather. So they take some time to swim off. All of the trout swam away perfectly fine and didn’t die or belly up once. They stay in my net in the water then I take them out of the net straight into the water. How the fish swims off is up to the fish. NOT how I’ve handled them. Trust me I know what I’m doing :)

    As far as durability, I had the tip snap about 4 or 5 inches from the tip the 3rd time I used it. Granted, I dont 100% blame the rod as I happened to hook into a nice sized bass, but still... Also saw a few reviews from last year of people having the same problem, in the same part of the rod. I recently called up to get my replacement, and upgraded my 4'10" to the 5'4". But is there any indication that this issue with the rod was addressed? Because the reviews of people with broken rods seemed pretty consistent with where the rod was breaking. As in it would be a rod problem, not user. I really do like the rod, though. Very nicely balanced, light weight, and can definitely launch a 1/8th oz spoon farther than I thought possible with such a short rod. Overall, it's an outstanding rod, but if it breaks on me on opening day again, I'm gonna be pretty pissed lol. 60 bucks for warranty replacement, I don't see why anyone should have to pay anything to replace a product that a company "stands behind".

  • @davidweirich9256
    @davidweirich92563 ай бұрын

    You shouldn’t have to pay anything. I had a Fenwick rod break and they sent me one at no cost no questions. Some warranty huh? Lmao

  • @Eclipse1988
    @Eclipse19883 ай бұрын

    @davidweirich9256 lol tell me about it. So far my replacement has performed superbly. I really like the rod, but if it breaks on me for some bs reason again, I'm putting that 60 bucks towards a Fenwick.
