Great patient centred care approach to support patients waiting to go home. Congrats to the team at the Chalmers.
Today is 5 days since surgery......everything is going well except sleeping, my normal sleep position is on my surgical side....started sleeping in my recliner....although not ideal it seems to be helping.
So glad to hear that, hope it continues to go well!
Mom
Will undergo hipreplacement surgery in the next week.
They said mines would be an outpatient surgery, is this typical at times?
Asleep or awake. That is the question.
In France Stereotactic radiotherapy is not given to "young" (60 yo) patients, because the clinical trials to evaluate the long term toxicity are not sufficient (only 5 years). Could you testify that this treatment is both effective and safe ( both spaceoar and sbrt), even later than 5 years?
Where is the local station headquartered in which produces urinary tract infections? Do all counties within the province have workers ready to activate the foul smell and taste all day and each day. Around four months of yelling stop, eww, and gross have been successful. When the scent activates then visual hallucinations begin. All while males speak to myself all day since 2020. This psychological torture enabled by real beings with technology gadgets included to play out psychiatric drama is nonsense.
Had my TKR on March 14 and I’m still trying to get my knee to bend due to swelling I been icing it daily but I’m still having trouble in bending my knee it it due to the swelling I’m lost here can some one help me out I’m up and walking with a walker and a cane but the only problem I’m having is bending my knee
Try the exercise they showed using a towel to pull the lower leg up the bed. You can also use a towel behind the thigh to pull the leg while keeping the heel on the bed.
When saying teeth complications what do you mean?
I was really glad to see how you presented this. I have or had PCOS and Hashimoto. Had I known back then that I was at risk for insulin resistance I would have been more careful. But because of these two diseases and my family history. I now have two.fortunately I can keep my A1c at 5.9 which isn’t perfect but isn’t horrible. I must say you did a fantastic job with this presentation.
Thanks so much, really appreciate that! Hope you're feeling well these days.
I was anaemic and pretty badly anaemic for about 20 years. Nobody told me that there was a direct relationship between the vitamin D intake and the anemia. If it weren’t for the treatment protocol that I had when I was super sick with Covid, I’d probably still be anemic.
Another informative video! Thanks Horizon and Dr. Landry.
I would rather hear from actual patients as opposed to doctors ! While the physician may give good clinical advice, the patient can give "the real deal"
A love for psychology, go Jo Anne!

How to reduce swelling
Get your toes above your heart. The more you can reduce the swelling, the better you’ll feel.
Thank you for the video, I'm having TKR on March 28th. I'm very nervous about it all.

I'm having a total knee replacement on April 8th. Your video has helped me so much. I wasn't aware of all the equipment I'd need. I'll be in touch with my doctor's office very soon.
So glad to hear this was helpful, wishing you the best for your operation and recovery!!
Very helpful info!
Hello, I need hip replacements in both of my hips. Whats the recommended transition time between one surgery and the other? I am also worried about the time I will need to be out of work. Any recommendations? Thanks upfront.
Talk to your doctor. I know that the anterior approach is a better surgery with no cutting of muscles or ligaments and you heal quicker. I will have my anterior surgery in April. Good luck.
Merci de donner plus de connaissance sur cette terrible maladie

No, our video team was gathering footage for the knee replacement video at the same time, so that's why the bandage is there!

Is SBRT available/appropriate for salvage radiation after a Biochemical Reoccurance of PCa?
Great question! Please ask your primary care provider as we can't answer personal healthcare questions on our social channels. Thanks for watching!
