Rebranded from Taurian Films we are looking to reboot and refocus on the plethora of projects we are thinking up.
When Envi is not in the squared circle going places and kicking faces he is developing short films, web series, and a few features as well as comic book series.

I can def see it being the finale. I think the finale is a three parter as well. But they got an immediate order for season two, so they knew early on in the creative process that they didn't have to rush it so I am hoping they don't.
You know if they made Silver Surfer a female they will likely make Galactus female as well?????

This looks just terrible. Look, I don’t have a ‘sacred cow’ when it comes to media. I don’t personally believe that anyone could ever remake ‘The Godfather’ or ‘Jaws’ and it will be anything other than a soulless imitation of the original, but I’m willing to get remakes a chance. I’ve been a huge fan of ‘The Crow’ since it was released. I tried watching the second film, but it was so terrible that I never bothered with the other straight-to-dvd-bargain bin sequels. I don’t think that ‘The Crow’ can ever be remade and it be anything even slightly as good as the original. Brandon’s insanely early demise casts a huge shadow, and that movie would have made him a star as big as his father had been, and perhaps even bigger. But the entire cast was just great, man. Go watch it today and tell me who you know of that will be a better Top Dollar, a better Funboy, a better Sergeant Albrecht, a better Gideon, a better Grange, a better Skank, a better Tin-Tin, or a better T-Bird than the actors that first portrayed them? Shelly and her her mom Darla too; they all did a pretty great job. This new version just looks dumb, even though it’s got Bill Skarsgard who I think is a darn good actor. I don’t know who FKA Twigs is, but she seems to be okay in the trailer. But the trailer itself and the designs of the characters just look friggin’ terrible. I like James O’Barr and if the film is successful and makes him more money then that’s awesome, but I think I’m gonna skip it and just watch the original movie again instead. Edit: and yes, I know that Top Dollar was just one of T-Birds thugs and not a crime lord, that Skank was actually (mostly) Tom-Tom, the whole nine yards. I’ve read the original series. I still prefer the Brandon Lee film.

And yeah, the Prof X voice actor was definitely amazing.
This is a mix of The Original Crow story story wise and The Crow Wild Justice in regards to character over all look. Yeah they used the names. The original Obarr work was those characters. Its a retelling of the Obarr work not the Brandon Lee film it self. Big difference. Lees legacy is that his work brought a new franchise to life which 30 years later it still here with people wanting to see more. It was in development for 19 years through every kind of hurdle for a reason. People wanted it but things took a long time to come together. Edward R Pressman company is the same company behind the first movie and is over this as well. Salvation and Wicked Prayer were hot garbage. City Of Angels was a box office success grossing its budget back opening weekend and went on to gross an additional 12 million profit. This will do as good as it if not better. It wont be the failure the haters are hoping for I hate to tell them.

You nailed it for me. It's not that it's a Crow movie it's that they are retelling Eric and Shelly's story.
Yeap, you can look at the deluge of dislikes on the trailer video as an indication, they were just courting negativity doing Eric and Shelly. Of course in this day and age there is no such thing as bad publicity, so maybe they did it with intent to get the project talked about more, whether or not we think it's a good idea or not.
Yes, the only thing keeping me from totally hating it outright and giving it a chance is Skarsgard. He's usually good but i do really wish they'd gone with an original story.
Idk who Thuy Trang is but this would have been a perfect option to introduce a female The Crow and this really could've worked, they really dropped the ball making the character Eric Draven imo. And alot of other's opinions from what it's looking like.
Thuy was the first MMPR yellow ranger back when the series first started. The Crow sequel was her last role before she died in a car wreck

i feel like the binge model kills the lasting hype for a series. the fans don't keep talking about for weeks, no memes a month after series premiere, etc. but then again, i don't have the disney-side metrics so i can't be sure

One thing I'm not too crazy about it is using Eve Teschmacher instead of Mercy Graves because I have never really liked Eve Teschmacher in the comics. She was an original creation for the Richard Donner Superman film similar to how Mercy Graves was an original creation for Superman The Animated Series but I always thought Mercy was significantly better and more interesting.
I feel that. I personally am more of a Mercy fan thanks to the animated series as well, she just...does more and is actually useful unless Tessmacher who is basically just a secretary...unless Gunn is going to give her more stuff to do and make her like a Mercy/Tessmacher hybrid that will invariably having us wonder why he didn't just go with Mercy Graves.

I didn’t get through the last Thor movie. I just stopped the movie and watched another show. I didn’t like Ragnarok, either. Although I’m probably one of very few who liked Thor The Dark World. Probably not going to watch this movie if the directors are promising a wacky film. That’s not what I’m looking for at all.

Was actually thinking about getting Max just to watch upcoming DC movies, which seems to be the ideal decision, seeing as though their quality has stayed fairly low for these past couple years and doesn't seem to be changing.
Genuinely curious as to what Gunn brings with his reboot, but then again, rebooting with Superman, I just want other characters to get some shine. I have had Max pretty well since it's inception, I use it to mostly watch the animated stuff. Currently rewatching Static Shock at the moment which is pretty damn good and ahead of its time in many ways, now that I am a lot older than I was when it first hit the air.
@@SkunkLifeMedia I think that's the route they should really take. The DCAU kept characters' origins short, but made up for that by including fan-favorites without bogging down the films and shows with unnecessary exposition. That's what makes the Spider-Verse movies so well-received, they gave comic book fans what they wanted but also managed to make it easy for newcomers to understand.
Hmmm. Who cares??? I won't be paying to see another superhero movie. Let the young debate over this stuff and pay the tickets to sit in theaters to consume a horrible movie. That is what they are here for.

@@SkunkLifeMedia Don't get me wrong, it's not the best cast, but it's certainly not bad either. It's going to be interesting seeing Robbie in this movie too; after a slew of TERRIBLE Harley Quinn performances, I think people have generally forgotten that Robbie's actually a really good actress.
