Hello Andrew. Excellent presentation. Can you clarify for me if we should use covariance and variance to calculate Beta against the market or do we need to use unlevered asset beta to figure out a company's levered equity Beta? Or am I just confusing methods and they are used for different purposes? Thanks!

I just started re-listening to the speeches of Malcolm X, 30 years after I first listened to them. What I missed in my youth, was his astute analysis of politics and the role of the black vote in deciding the outcome of elections.

@@Andrew_StotzI am more interested in his opinions of the right to defend yourself , you see the US always tried to present Martin Lutherking as the black saviour ? Liberator because as he said if a white men hit you in one chick give him the other one !!! While Malcolm X said to hit him back … yup … so yea , as a Muslim I don’t pay to much attention to race but yes we can say black peoples today are awful in general , they kill each other , they had become like the white men they hated so much but again Malcolm x explained that by the terms house Nig.er and field Nig-er … yup … do you see , it’s the individuality , I noticed they event in Arabs when it come to Islam ,they try to use it to control , like it’s theirs !!!! God said there is no difference between a black or white of foreigner or local , the only difference is the strength of their faith in god …. So you see , most people are scarred from real justice … god bless Malcolm x

with ROA, I wouldn’t say it’s the entire capital, because a portion of ROA could be funded by accounts payable, for example. Which I wouldn’t classify as capital.

When it comes to quality, I agree that Tesla might be a bit better than BYD but I don't think by far. But, how about thinking about it in another way! Like, how about if Tesla lost the major EV market (China) to BYD completely like what happened in the most recent quarter? How about saying that people are accepting the slight differences in favor of a lower-cost EV? Finally, why would Tesla go and lower prices in China if BYD is not a competitor?

I don't think many realize the actual growth of Tesla megapack as it hasn't really shown up in revenue yet. Tesla did $6 billion in revenue in 2023 and added $3.4 billion in deferred revenue which is waiting for projects to be connected to the grid. Tesla is going to report megapack production, deliveries and revenue starting this quarter. Tesla only breaks this out when growth starts to happen. I think Tesla energy does $10-12 billion in revenue for 2024, and with Tesla giving more details on energy, analysts will start pricing in the real growth. I think Tesla is being really underestimated by the market.

I was leaving a like because you said some accurate things about Toyota, but as soon as you began your rant about "financially world class", I downvoted. It's like focusing on Tesla because they can generate hype and get their stock price really high, even if they produce garbage cars, that actually get people killed because they pretend self-driving works. I mean, you should revisit your outlook on life, if these are your values.

I'm 14 and started 9th grade this year. I've been worried about my grades so much all year because I'm worried about not being able to get a job that will pay for my happiness, but I have been realizing that it's not money that gives happiness- it's knowing that people care about you and having friends and just exploring the earth and the environment. None of that takes very much money.
