What size is the hose on the dpac120068
The guy who designed the hose and attachment is an idiot. Great air conditioner that no'one will buy or recommend because of your "innovative design". No, I'm not sending customer support an email. Shh, you hear that? Money talks, and it's saying goodbye. You will needlessly lose sales. Fix the damn hose.
My horizontal sliding window has the height 56 inches. Just a bit greater than the maximum height of this model. How poor.

Thanks so much, I did not realize they had 3 filters and wow what a difference with the 3rd clean, one thing I did that you did not mention yet was cleaning in behind the front opening where the air comes out, there was a ton of dust build up there. I cleaned it while it was blowing cold air and open as Danby is good at hiding this area with their closing front panels. Thanks again !

no. it wasn't helpful. i'm trying to understand the icons for the timer, do not have to instruction manual, and can't find any helpful youtube videos explaining it. there are two icons... one is a dash and one is a dash with a square. i want to be able to turn my air on with the power button and then have it shut off in 30 minutes (i just want to cool the air a bit, i don't want it to run all night long). i tried setting it to .5 and nothing ended up happening.... i guess i'll just mess with it. i think i selected .5 on both icons once too.

The service port was pressurized when I attempted to vacuum the line.. the allen key valves were shut. I did check for leaks with soap..just that there is a lot of pressure...about 160mmHg in the line.... any advice?

Mine arrived yesterday. The lack of detailed instructions in the manual is my biggest issue so far. This is NOT a typical microwave and using it is NOT intuitive. Fortunately for me, I had been torn between this and Toshiba's ML2EC1SA. Danby won out on price, longer warranty, and best of all Canadian company. Turns out that the Danby and Toshiba combos have MANY features in common, and there's much better info available online for the Toshiba. It's not 100%, but it's giving me enough info that I don't feel I made the wrong choice. Off I go to watch another of many KZread videos about the Toshiba and how to cook with it.

Asking Danby a question! If room BTU calculations amount to 6,400 BTU can I get the Danby 8,000 BTU inverter variable speed U shape Window AC? Will an 8k BTU not be overpowered for a room suited to a 6-7k BTU conventional Window AC? I see these inverter ACs are variable speed, not compressor on or off like conventional ACs. Hey Danby, I kind of want to get this answered so I can hurry up an AC unit purchase please! Your U Shape Inverter Window AC is what I want. But I can't tell if 8k is okay. ❓️❓️❓️❓️❓️

We purchased Danby Wine cooler, exactly after 5 year compressor gave up. I called warranty they were not helpful at all. Compressors have been around many decades, all other carrier provide 10 years warranty on compressors etc except for Danby, they provide only 2 years. Danby uses crap compressors. Being Canadian, i purchased to support Canadian company but when issues arise they do not give a s**t about your issue, they will try to make more money by asking to buying parts. STAY AWAY FROM this company!!
