Very good video, excellent scenery, thank you 👍

Hey mate, thank you for the nice words!
@@Cli4D_Designs your welcome mate 😀
@@Dreamsofwings 🍻
Thanks again and I am grateful for the nice words! Its always inspiring to see someone appreciate all the work that I put into it. It may not be perfect yet but I will keep on learning and improving my sceneries and future projects. Until the next one.. cheers!
@@Cli4D_Designs thanks to you! You create wonderful areas to explore!
Another excellent video showcasing the excellent Burning Blue Designs. Just wondered how you get to take off in the spit with the canopy open? I’ve tried it and mine just fails as it says I’ve overstressed the aircraft 🤔 is there a setting you have to change ?
@@mikeallen789 many thanks Mike! Yes that canopy issue is a bug if you have the MSFS aircraft stress on. I’ve turned the damn thing off because it is more trouble than it is worth! 🍻
Thank you I will check that out and turn it off 👍 great channel by the way and excellent content 👌
@@mikeallen789 thank you sir!
Having been to Old Warden on several occasions I am happy to say this looks very much like its real counterpart. It’s one I will purchase very soon.
Fantastic, many thanks for confirming!
So only 2 passengers? Does Cowan know that most of the helicopters he develops can carry more than that!
23 at Sandown has a right hand circuit. Was strange seeing you take off and turn left into the dead side.
@@Garycetc yes wasn’t following any set procedure, more trying to show a feel for the scenery.
Wow, hearing your voice outside of yelling at me to get into the back of a van... Been thinking about adding say intentions to my collection, thanks for the vid.
Hey Asim! Yeah no heists going on here! Hope all is good with you 🍻. Many thanks.
Looks fantastic. Even has the Astroturf runway. Half expected to see my little T600 in her hangar.
Ah great stuff!
Great video, was looking forward to buy the H-130, worth every penny. Btw, where is the location of that helipoint you spawned? I keep trying to find it in Bora Bora but I can’t.
Many thanks! That location is the helipad to the right of BR02 on the map
@@Dreamsofwings thank you!
Another cracking video and commentary making me laugh all the way through. I would 100% watch your nature show if you made one. Hahaha
@@jonathanpadoa8987 🤣 many thanks! 🍻
Such a beautiful, moving poem. As a WWII pilot it was one of my fathers favorites. Years later when I flew I understood.❤❤❤❤
Another superb video. Thank you. I've only flown into Sandown 3 times, twice in a Super Cub and last time in an Aerobat. Looks a lot different since was there last. Always remember was a little bumpy (like Compton Abbas) and that there was a footpath which ran across the runway on the Western Approach. And the dumped Norman Fieldmasters in the grass behind the Tower.
@@martinpengelly9155 many thanks Martin 🍻
MSFS 2020 has been amazing the last couple of years. Lets hope the scenery popping we see gets resolved in 2024. What we see at time approx 26:34 is an immersion killer.
@@pilotngb to be fair I have since discovered that this was a glitch brought on by mesh introduced by Black Square airport signs/markings pack. Having deleted the .bgl for that addon my Vegas now looks complete.
that was awesome..👍
Anyone heard of Roland Garros?
Looks great. Shame it’s not available on the Xbox 😢
another great video, now I have to buy both airfields
@@murdock074 🤣 many thanks 🍻
Thanks for a great showcase! The atmosphere of any Burning Blue Design is amazing. Sandown looks a lovely field, full of character. I do hope in the future, we'll see one of A2A's long awaited warbirds from FSX in MSFS2020/ 24 or maybe the T-33 project that sadly never the light of day. I hope you don't mind me asking, but can I ask what your system specs are? Thanks again.
oh I would love to see an A2A Warbird too and many thanks for watching! I am currently using i9-14900K, 64 GB Ram, 3080ti
Thanks!
Burning Blue have done absolute wonders for UK flying.
@@D25Bev they certainly have!
I have actually flown into Thurrock before, back in Spring 2022 and I’m very impressed by the level of detail shown here. Even the bench outside the pilot lounge where I had my lunch is faithfully recreated!
Looks really good. been there a couple of times in my aeroplane. Very realistic.
@@johnhodgkiss9882 fantastic! Many thanks.
Where's Sid😢?
@@JamesParker737 you are going to have to expand on that I am afraid 🤣. Guessing Sid is someone you know there?
😂 I think he means "sid" was a helicopter pilot in a few of your video's (H145?)
@@sascenturion I think that must have been another youtuber lol. Either that or I am having a complete memory failure!
@@DreamsofwingsSid is Sandown's mascot. He's a skeleton.
@andrewbaxman4560 where is he normally kept?
Is there any GA traffic? It would be great if there was traffic in the circuit? Perhaps with Fsltl? Thanks for the video, looks great.
@@davidh7280 you have AI or MP traffic but I have it turned off when making videos, especially with default AI because it can behave very strangely!!
Hi and thank you for a wonderful show. I am really impressed with how far flight simulation has come. If all student pilots would use this to train, life of a flight instructor would be so much easier. Speaking of instructing, would you mind if I gave you some feedback? On your walk around. As you said, the battery drains fairly quickly with the pitot heat on, also if you turn on the heat with the cover on, it melts and you are in a world of trouble. So you start your walk around with the battery off, after you have completed the round and removed all the bits and covers, turn on the battery, pitot and lights, walk back to the pitot heat, observing the lights as you go, and feel it slowly heat up. Walk back the other way round, observing the other lights and set the battery switch back off. Another point is the soft-field takeoff technique, if I recall correctly, it should be done with two notches of flap, and preferably be a rolling takeoff in stead of a static takeoff, reason because it could be dangerous to get stuck in the soft ground on the runway. I applaud your landing in Bambridge, beautiful crosswind technique applied. That’s an airport I’ve visited a few times to bring and collect Islanders from maintenance. The scenery looks magnificent. So thanks again for sharing your video. It’s a joy to see a review and proper treatment of an aeroplane at the same time. All the best!
Many thanks for the feedback, very useful info! Yes I must admit when I saw the pitot cover was still on I did wince a little! Interesting regarding the walk around. I will start doing it that way rather than just follow the flow on the tablet. 🍻
Lovely place to fly in...great breakfast too....popular with motorcyclists...my other love
Big fan of BBD. They do small airfields right. Thanks for the preview
@@FlightSimVRDad they certainly do! Many thanks.
This is one of the reasons this simulator is so special. With such realistic graphics, and with scenery so wonderfully made, it's almost as actually being there. And the Comanche seemed at home there, too. What a great video. Well done, sir. Liked, subscribed. ...Note to self: explore more the UK. :-)
@@coriscotupi many thanks! Yes this simulator is great for exploring the world.
Does Sim FX automatically install to Flow I wonder? Thanks for the vid and your efforts.
Stunning showcase of the scenery and the aircraft, I'm sold on both 👏🏻👏🏻

How do you get those contrails over sky? SimFX by Parallel 42, or other mod? Thanks.
@@Goyo-Z yes SimFX
just putting out there.. but what about a weekly tour (like but not necesserely) a world tour in the Comanche? l´m doing one but would love to follow you flying one!
At some point I will do another circumnavigation but don’t seem to have the spare sim time at the moment 🤦🏻♂️. Was hoping for an A2A warbird to do it in.
Most of my time on flight sim is spent in the Comanche flying between Burning Blue airports in the South of England. For me they are the two best developers I've come across
Yes the two are a perfect combination.
Same here .. let me know when .. group flight ?
Nice to see this one finally in the sim. I've flown here on a number of occasions in real life from both Shoreham and Goodwood.🛩
Ah fantastic! Love Goodwood too!
I'm over the moon that BBD have started on North Weald. I've got a good collection of their airfields, some I've flown from or into IRL.
Yes VERY excited about that!
What I find difficult to comprehend is we are not far from msfs2024 and A2A have released only a single aircraft. I 🙏 for many more from them.
Yes looking forward to the Aerostar.
I really wish they would release the Accu Sim 172!
@@peterprow6093 yes I am surprised they haven’t but I am also desperate for them to release a warbird.
@@peterprow6093 Same here. That imo should have been their first plane. Miss opportunity. That is the most popular single engine and trainer in the world!

Awesome stuff! Nice to see the Comanche back in action :)
Many thanks! Yes I need to fly it more, it’s wonderful!
Great rendering for the most part but dissapointed to find a deep gully running along the flight line just in front of the spectators fence, which shouldn't be there. I have tried to contact technical support only to find it impossible .I would really want to sort it out. Any ideas?
@@gordonsutton2161 a vaguely remember when it launched that this was sometimes caused by having a other version of Compton in your community folder but this may not be the caae for you. Sounds like a mesh conflict coming from somewhere, for example I have Black Square airport signs which sometimes causes havoc around 3rd party addon airports. If none of this sounds like it could be yours head over to their Discord which is the best way of getting things looked at and solved, discord.gg/BDdrKGFg

25 euros for something the developers could have done themselves... I can see buying planes if I like them. But when I think about how the sim was announced ages ago as one of the best of all time, and what it ultimately turned out to be, I'm very disappointed. especially when it comes to effects like those in the video. sad that "small" developers do better work than microsoft.. There are so many good grsfik engines in other games that also work and look perfect.
Is there a way to turn off your crew from shouting at you
