  I love how deeply you get into things. I'm sure that when you get toward the end of Wano arc, you'll have developed a good idea of why Kaidou can exhibit the contradiction of seeking One Piece (as well as his other goals he'll mention), while also being suicidal. He's a fascinating character to analyze, for sure. I can't wait until you get to the next interlude arc (after the next major arc) and see a certain episode* that goes into past lore. You might have insights the rest of us missed. (This current arc at Zou is also an interlude.) **** look below for a very brief and vague mention of the arc name and its focus**** I was talking about... : : : ...Reverie arc --> the ep with Sengoku talking about past pirate relationships

  Recall back to the end of Skypiea and Sabaody. Robin asked if Roger could read the Poneglyphs. But Rayleigh said he couldn't read them, but could "hear" them, and infer their meaning. Also recall back to the end of Fishman Isle, we get a small flashback of Roger travelling underwater and hes hearing somebody talking. But Rayleigh couldn't hear it. Makes ya wonder.

  Oden=GOAT 🔥 Also, it's not that the World Government are weaker than Kaido and his crew... The World Government is the most powerful organization in the One Piece World without question... However, the amount of military losses (soldiers, ships, weapons) does not compensate for the risk of attacking a Yonko territory.

  ❤"Shogun" means kind of like the king that rules the whole country. "Daimyo" means like the governor or the leader or ruler of a particular area.Kuni in this case.(They already mentioned it). So Oden is basically the ruler of state kind of place and Shogun is the ruler of Wano which is what Momo want to become.

  I always forget that Zou had a lot more major plot point drops than I remember. Rewatching this, it so hard not to get to Wano immediately. So excited for you two to catch up!!!

  Kozuki Oden traveled with Roger. The Kozuki clan created the poneglyphs and were able to read what they say. Kaido is working with the Shogun of Wano and executed Oden. Big Mom and Kaido both possess important road poneglyphs and it seems to not be that big of a secret. Not bad for one episode! We still have a lot to learn, though!
