    I doubt the C-section had anything to do with it. It might be the trauma. We know ADHD is a trauma response. Also having kids could add stress to your life therefore causing your ADHD symptoms to become more severe not a professional, but I just don’t think having a C-section can make you ADHD.

  • @TheSimplicitySisters

    Right, I definitely was thinking the trauma of hospitalization, emergency C, followed up with intense lack of sleep rolled in together seemed to change my brain chemistry. Obviously I can't prove that but it just feels like what happened in my case!

    As its wool I would be concerned about moths, particularly if its not being washed or worn everyday. Where do you store it?

  • @TheSimplicitySisters
    @TheSimplicitySisters22 күн бұрын

    Sorry for my delay, I have taken a loooong break from KZread and am trying to get back into content creation here! Moths aren't as much of an issue for items that are frequently worn and moved around, more for items just sitting. I have never had a moth issue in my home fortunately! I wear my wool a lot.

    That's so crazy...I just started a list like this yesterday of things I'd re-buy for everyday life if there was a fire. 😅 Then a list of things I'd re-buy for weekly living and monthly living. Hoping to video the process once I get to actually remove stuff that's not on the list!

    Here's my Tip for you: Bronzer on the top parts of the face, (top of forehead, top of nose) can act as... what it's name actually means: where you would bronze from the sun. If you put it on your cheeks, I'd recommend: Think 'Shadows'... I do this too... I can't be bothered to use a bronzer and a contour product. So I use bronzer for everything. So on the cheeks, try applying it where and how a shadow would fall. Meaning you can make your cheeks thinner. Or your face slimmer. I'm saying this, because I feel like you may be applying it a teeeny bit too high. Alternatively: stick with that height, just drag it downward, so the darkest part is at the top if that makes sense. But: I honestly don't think you need that. You already have a slim face, and since using it as a 'shadow' making product can often look very 'edgy' at first, maybe just try to leave bronzer at the perimeters.

  • @TheSimplicitySisters

    Thank you! I need all the help I can get for makeup and I really have been wanting to try the contouring exercise. My face is also a LOT LESS thin than it was when I originally made this video LOL!

    You're not alone! I was able to manage my ADHD symptoms when I was a child but as an adult it was difficult. Add 3 kids and it became very overwhelming! Minimizing is the only thing that has helped me getting control of my home.

  • @TheSimplicitySisters
    @TheSimplicitySisters22 күн бұрын

    It's so interesting to think that I might have been masking as a child. I have wondered that also. Also the fact that I was homeschooled did give me a very gentle, safe, and simple childhood so maybe my symptoms were minimized from that safety net. I'm glad you have had benefit from minimalism!!!

    Glad to find this review. I live in NE Florida and was wondering if these dresses were actually doable in our heat. I’m still curious about the itch factor…. Wool has always felt so itchy that it’s hard to believe these will be comfortable next to my skin. Thank you!

    Hi Jennifer! Thanks for watching. The Camellia is definitely nice and light and perfect for heat and humidity! Since this video I have also purchased a Sierra. It's thicker, closer to a sweatshirt and I have loved it for fall. I know lots of people wear it all year but I do think it would be a little heavy for me in the 90 degree heat here. Although truthfully, at that point in the summer anything other than a swimsuit feels too heavy, let's be honest. I do not find these blends itchy at all. I definitely feel like most 100% wool is quite itchy, so I was relieved about that!
