A trumpet with 4 valves is a nightmare come true, and what sucks is that it doesnt work like a real trumpet, because you buzz into the mouth peice, not blow.

Neat, this is the same as Ferling's 11th etude for oboe/saxophone. I don't know which one came first but it seems more likely that the Ferling etude did.

It's from an old trumpet book by Arban that came out in the mid to late 1800s, I believe.

I like your straight forward approach to this interpretation wise. Solid firm middle register attacks. Shared with my student who is a long time pro musician and bandleader. Long on range, power and endurance. Short on sight reading ability. I gave him a specific way to practice with these trax.

Wow...This video popped out my eyes. I practice flexibility that covers 2 octaves for 2 or 3 hours straight without any break because I feel getting worse and need to practice more. I might be going the opposite way...I try practicing less and take rest as much as I play. Thank you!
