Welcome to the PATCHBOYDARB KZread channel. This channel is mainly for showcasing our embroidery designs, Brother embroidery machines, and Wilcom Hatch. Machines Used: Brother Innovis Duetta 4500D, Brother SE 625, and the Brother Persona.
Materials Used: Garden fabric for backing, Duck Cloth and Fray Check.

    needles don’t play that much into the quality. It has everything to do with the motors and bobin. It has a industrial bobbin unlike your other brothers so that’s where your quality is coming from

    How do you like the persona? Have a 6 needle brother have a 4 needle Janome and 4 single needle Janome looking at the persona love your channel

    Thank you for the support! The persona is a great machine. At time it would be nice to have more needles but we make it work. They have a new persona model if you didn’t know!

    Cut away stabilizer and the 75/11 needle.

    @@PATCHBOYDARB thanks King..The black material you are using for patches...do you have any affiliate link where I can buy it so you can earn something out of it? It looks like it is good quality. I do not wish to order wrong, as it will take long time until it reaches Norway. Sorry for stupid questions

    This fabric I pick up from Joann’s, my local craft store, it is black twill. You can also try duck cloth.

    Cotton works good. But you should experiment with both fabrics to see what works best for you.

    Hello brother. I have the same machine as you and live in Europe. I would love to become as professional as you. What kind of material should I use for patches and tshirts? You have any tutorials so I can learn? I dont know what backing/stabilizer and needles I should use for patches and tshirts. I can give you all cred for such information ❤

    In regard to stabilizer, we use cut-away stabilizer for both patches and shirts. With shirts you may need temporary adhesive to prevent registration loss. For patches we embroider onto twill fabric or duck canvas.

    We always use cut away stabilizer for our patches. It works great!

    I used the 75-11 needle actually. It worked great and I didn’t have any issues stitching on this Richardson hat style.

    We use a satin stitch around each patch along with fray-check.

    That is just part of the art style. Plus it can be difficult having eye details with embroidery.

    So what am I doing wrong that I can’t get any of my files from Embrilliance to load on my ps100? I’ve tried with flash drive and direct connect to laptop and nothing?? The flash drive worked with my ps800

    Are you using the PES file format? Also how big is your usb stick? USB sticks over 32g will not work on the machine from our experience.

    How would you sew a patch which is on a pocket without sewing the pocket?

    The only ways would be to hand sew it on or remove the pocket and sew it back on once the patch is added.

    Hey! My persona's bobbin winder not working. Do you know if it is covered in warranty? Is it advisable to open the machine? Is it advisable to repair it or use an portable machine instead?

    The bobbin winder malfunctioning should be under warranty. You should contact Brother customer service for more assistance.

    Yes! We made the hat using the PRCF5 flat brim hat hoop. We plan on making hat tutorials soon.

    With these patches I embroidered onto black sports twill fabric from Joann’s. With cut-away stabilizer.

    I saw somewhere that stitching below .4 MM could cause to threads bust. Have you noticed any issues with that? I'm specificly making velcro patches.

    I have not experienced that. I usually don't change the default stitching too much. Stitching below certain millimeters is not recommend with text for sure.
