The rail is super cool. Speaking from experience, documenting these guys through pictures/videos is so difficult

Thanks, Ethan. Definitely birds that you hear a lot more than you see!

Hi from the UK. Very Nice video JT, as are all of yours. I'm a subscriber and my wife & I have watched all of them, especially like that its all natural sounds, no add-on music, which we never hear when out birding. Good luck with the rest of your LBY target.

Thanks for starting your little big year. I was thinking of doing the same in my yard but without the video or photo. Just sightings. I love seeing the birds so clearly and up close on your video. Thanks!

Cool project! I actually birded that place for the first time a few weeks ago. Surprising for how urban the surrounding area is. Good luck and we'll see what you find!

Thanks, John. It is definitely a nice spot with the only drawback being how crowded it can get.

Thanks, Ian. I use the Canon R7 with the Canon 100-500 zoom lens. I’ll probably discuss my experience with this combination in a future video but overall I’m very happy with it.

Ha! "Only" 84 to go, as per this video. You're probably a bit in front of that...

Very well done, and a nice collection of species. Which gear were you using to film this?

Thanks, Stefano! I have enjoyed your videos as well. All the birds were filmed with a Lumix GX8 with the Leica 100-400 mm lens.

@@JT_Birder Thank you! And nice, this is the first time I've seen someone use that setup for birds. Great to see the results.
