I've sparred with linger for the past 3 years. He's just a dog that comes forward and doesn't stop. When you land your best shots and he doesn't stop coming after you, it wears you down. Look at Linger's resume. He's a gate keeper for high level fighters the only people to beat him decisively are world class. Adrien Broner exited negotiations to fight him last year for a reason.

@@pr6046 Yes he sure did dominate the HW division no argument there, he was derailed by Tyson Fury "3" times, those type of fights "beatings" do more that prevent you from having your hands raised in victory, they actually take a toll on one's physicality and mentality. I won't site the age thing cause Wilder started pretty late in boxing. His lack of significant activity in the last 3 years his prime years were to his detriment. My opinion on Wilder is based upon his last performance which was 2 days ago, I'll also add that the opponent Joseph Parker whom Wilder would have KO'd pre Tyson Fury. Wilder did not even struggle against Parker, he simply had nothing at all to offer. Yes I am sure he can still fight on, but not as he once did whilst dominating the HW's.

Man, DW is old. Period. His shelf life has expired. Remember, the 30s are a graveyard for majority of fighters, regardless of weight division. Simply put, he aged himself out.
