I have a similar model. Sadly, mine was in my cook kit and the saltshaker opened and salt got into every possible nook and cranny of the knife and the entire works was frozen solid. It's a little pitted in places, but I finally got all the parts operating again. They are hard to destroy.

Yes the crawler’s have holes in the face no teeth. The rake is terrible it has teeth from ear to ear and it makes sounds you will get nightmares from. Clicking and screeching. And they will chase you and bite you. One story I heard a guy got caught by one he bit his leg so bad they had to amputate his leg his friends all all got chased they were camping but they got to him some how got him to the hospital. @@YorkshiremanOutdoors That is the only strange experience I have ever had in my life. I may have seen a UFO once, but I am not sure if it was or not, so I don't count that one. The weird thing about my encounter that is similar to yours is that when I turned the corner and saw it half way across the back room at my grandparent's house, it was crouched like your encounter. It turned it's head and looked at me, it's eyes were glowing white and then it SpiderMan crawled away behind some boxes and there is literally nowhere for it to have gone. So either it wasn't entirely physical, or it was incredibly sneaky, because this was Easter Sunday and the house was filled with family. Someone would have seen it leave or enter.

In my search for answers I thought it was an alien for the longest time, because this was pre internet for our family, so I hadn't heard of the Rake or anything like that. My grandma had some strange UFO encounters on our farm up north, so in my child brain I put 2 and 2 together and just thought it was an alien from the UFOs my grandma was seeing. Then I saw images of the Rake and similar creatures on some internet forums when we finally got dial up, and It was exactly like what I saw. Now as an adult, my voice gets shaky when I retell the story to friends and i get teary eyed because it scared me so bad. Seeing that thing has led me to believe in a lot of this paranormal and cryptid stuff.

It sounds to me like you may have seen a crawler (aka pale crawler, cave crawler, pale humanoid, the Ash Man, etc.). So, I've done an incredible amount of online digging on this one because, to be honest, the phenomenon just fascinates me for some reason. I can tell you why it is that researchers & others who take the subject more seriously call them "crawlers" instead of "The Rake." It's because sometime in the earlier 2000s, someone in an internet forum created the name The Rake specifically for a fictional character they were developing for use in creepypasta, nosleep tales, greentext stories, & other formats of solely fictional, horror-themed internet literature that's found in writing forums on sites like Reddit & 4chan. The thing about those particular types of literature is that they're most often short-story formats that are meant to be written in a way that makes them seem very realistic & possibly real, quite similar in style to how one would expect eyewitnesses & those who have encountered something strange or paranormal would write, or type up, a personal account of what they experienced & then post it to a forum or group or submit it to a website, podcaster, or KZread channel to be posted or narrated. The original The Rake character was either white or pale grey, hairless, with a stooping or lurching posture, was rather muscular, had VERY long & sharp fingers, 3 green eyeballs placed strangely about its bald head, & if memory serves, a mouth full of many dull, human-like teeth. Now, I don't think that anyone can trace when exactly the term "pale crawlers" or "crawlers" began being used as a name for what people were claiming to see in real life. But, there's been some speculation that it may have started sometime shortly after the horror/thriller film The Descent came out due to the potential similarities in appearance between the creatures in the movie, which many called "crawlers", & what people were witnessing. In the film, the creatures appear to quickly "crawl", not on hands & knees, but on hands with lengthened arms & feet with legs that bend at the knees, & possibly some adapted ankle & foot morphology to compensate for thr weird angle. Their posture looks almost frog-like, but the posterior is held up off of the ground. I'll end this post with a list of the resources that I know of where this channel's creator & anyone else can learn more about crawlers & crawler encounters: • The subreddit page meant for true, honest crawler sightings - r/crawlersightings (Google the above term or just type crawler sightings into Reddit's search bar & hit Enter/the search button) • A video by the channel Hammerson Peters titled Crawler Sighting in Canada's Northwestern Territories (extremely informative) • A channel titled Missy Leigh Sterling. She has claimed to have 2 sightings, & she had her mom with her for 1 of them. She also wrote a book that was going to be released on Amazon, but idk what happened with that • A playlist on my YT page, click on the Playlists tab, & scroll down until you see the one titled "Crawlers" (though, I can't honestly remember what's on it anymore, I just add things of interest whenever I come across them) • The following podcasts, which are on YT & elsewhere, either read submitted or have witnesses tell their own allegedly true crawler accounts: - The Belief Hole - The Confessionals - Monsters Among Us - Expanded Perspectives - Phantoms & Monsters Radio

I don't belive in the paranormal, or well at least I have not for a long time. Even today, I don't want to belive in them, but my hobby is urbex and all. So after hearing things and seeing things on a few occasions, well, I can't say people are making things up, I simply can't deny them. So my clearest paranormal encounter was in this old factory from the socialist era of my country, and it was an old barrack. So we were walking there as usual with a friend of mine, we alway held hands while doing urbex, cuz homies need love, right? So after exploring a while building, we found a room with satanistic bs all over it. We thought it was just some dumb prank on those who want to do urbex and all, so we did what dumb teens would. We vandalized the room, thinking we are oh so cool. Yeah so, following that, a lot of wierd stuff happened. First it was a few doors shutting, that we chucked up to the wind. Than a few things noticably moved from where we saw them first, again, must have been a shy homelss guy trying to scare us away. Now, we KNEW the building we went into next was empty, since we walked all over it, top to bottom, and as we left, some shreaking could be heard from a higher floor. That is kinda the reason I can't deny paranormal encounters, however I try, cuz I know, I f-ing know there was no one there, there was no phisical possibility for anyone to be there.

Had one of these sets for a few years. Use the canteen in winter which I think holds an American quart. Changed the cup for a French surplus aluminium one, longer handles and it seems to boil water a little quicker. Still packs up into the stand. I have 2 bits of thick aluminium foil, I put one over the holes on the pot stand to stop the handle on the cup heating up so much and the other bit of foil goes over the other holes in windy weather which helps boil time in those conditions. It's a versatile little pot stand and I'll get another one if this one gives out.

Really nice video, I've just bought it myself for cycle camping but not necessarily wild camping. Still at £65.00 at Go Outdoors but they have an extra 15% off until Monday. Cheers and you have another Sub. Keep up the good work 👍 Cheers David..

Greetings fellow Yorkshireman, thanks for watching. This particular one was bought online from Cyclaire Knives, I actually think they are based in Yorkshire

Nice video. I've got the similar but slightly larger OneTigirs Outback Retreat. Good tent, a bit condensation-y and I need to re-waterproof mine. Good for summer though!

Ah cool, I’m not sure if I’ve seen that one or not, I’ll have to take a look! I can’t wait to start using this bungalow though. Thanks for watching bud
