  A center console in a regular cab? Never seen before on these 1st gen trucks. Though it makes more sense to me that every regular cab and extended cab truck should only be offered in a split-bench front seat.

  Not a good year for Northstars. 2000 & up, the problems with the head bolts, head gaskets & engine block material were solved.

  Not quite so. The engine and the year are fine. These engine issues can happen on any year Cadillac and also any Cadillac engine. The biggest culprit that for some reason everyone is forgetting is about is Dexcool antifreeze. It becomes a problem when not handled correctly causing engine troubles. When the cooling system is properly maintained, they run flawlessly.
