Honestly Foreman was the better boxer in this fight, but Ali was the smarter one. He played it smart by grabbing to tire out Foreman and to prevent punches being thrown, and backing into the ropes to absorb the blows. All the love and respect to the great Muhammad Ali, but he made this fight kinda boring... At one point I was thinking this was a Greco Roman wrestling match

Was interesting how Ali was running a lot in round 4-5. Apparently Listons trainers rub linement oil on his gloves to blind opponents. So Ali could barely see for some of middle rounds. Then got sight back and went hard

Ali is nothing. He ran the whole game. leaned against the pre-set ropes and called this fraud tactics. Each time Foreman started beating, either the referee intervened or Ali hugged him. The referee did not give a warning to Ali once. Foreman's trainers were also purchased. Despite seeing all this, they wanted Foreman to get tired. After this match, Foreman parted ways with his coach. but Ali had fame. In short, Ali was the chicken that laid the golden egg and no one wanted to cut it.

This fight was fixed. Liston was employed by the Mafia and they told him to throw the fight. The betting odds were hugely in his favour to win, so the Mafia cleaned up. If you look at Liston’s earlier fights, you can tell that he just didn’t even try to fight on this occasion.

I heard about it. I was 12. I saw Ali's entire career. Of course he was magnificent. I would not dispute he was the GOAT but, I can't imagine anyone taking out Iron Mike at the start of his career. Ali looked like he COULD lose, now and then. Ali won by hitting, while not getting hit back. Mike was so dominant and aggressive that it was nearly impossible to imagine ANYONE even knocking him down, much less knocking him out. He just charged his opponent, put a glove on him, and fight over.
