Vedio really does it show but he was doing where you going forward in all the sudden you just stop and do a spin. He would also do bow stops where bow dips into the water. Video also shows a lot of history

The historic ship departed from the Philadelphia Navy Yard on Friday and will dock in Paulsboro NJ for six days before heading home to Camden on June 20.

Missouri was last in dry dock in 2009. As museum ships, a dry dock period generally lasts them 20-30 years. The next Iowa in dry dock is most likely to be Wisconsin.
Something for me to think about...as Russian future submarines enter Havana...The American people would get the New Jersey ready to fight in 2 weeks time if that...

battleship, USS New Jersey (BB-62), participated in the Battle of Philippine Sea, Battle of Leyte Gulf, and supported the Iwo Jima and Okinawa Campaigns
Only USS New Jersey served in the Vietnam War and the conflict in Lebanon, and she served in the Persian Gulf.
Didn't the Battleship Missouri participate in the Gulf War as well?
Some of the work completed was sand blasting old paint. Repair of some skin. Cleaning of the propellers. Some seal work done on the shafts. Replacing Andnoads this is for electrolysis. Testing the rudder for air leeks by Pressure testing the rudder and replacing or repairing any leaks or skin needed. Add several coats of paint are some of the work completed.just a note you can purchase a Andnoid's from the shipyard at the time of repair. I heard they might have it at the museum eventually to buy as well
