Sharing a love of hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, and all that nature has to offer.
The channel is a creative outlet and hobby. I don't have amazing equipment or training in videography. This is trial and error and observation.
I'll stick to sharing my adventures that I expect to be accessible to the average hiker. Not much that's fancy, but I'll try to make the videos interesting and entertaining. I'll share insights to the extent they can be differentiated from other content, but have no desire to duplicate what's already out there.

Nice stuff, I'm going with my father and we plan on summiting rising wolf mountain 😀
I wish I had more time at Glacier. I had covid and was alone the first few days of hiking. Just me and my bear spray! I had to stick close to where I was staying.
Great pictures and video!
Why thank you!
Amazing views! Hope you had a great day!🩷
A wonderful visit!
Great trail. Thanks for taking us along your adventure!
Glad you enjoyed it!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I bet that water is really 🥶
Glacier water! I wasn't going in.
Well, maybe snow melt.
Beautifully done❤
Thank you so much!
New Subscriber. - Nice video. I was there last year. What amazing views!! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! Thank you! One more coming out from my trip to Utah next week.
This is amazing! I love seeing all of the amazing scenery and all of you hiking- it must have been awe inspiring in person! Gorgeous video and I love the music you used
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. When you don't know what's around the bend you take a lot of video and hope for the best. It really was breathtaking. It's why I wanted to hike out west. This is what I was hoping for. ❤️
Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing. 👍3
Thank you 👍
Great video! Have done each of those mountains but never as a hut to hut on the AT. Looks like a great hike. Did you stay at each hut and reserve in advance? Or just pass through?
We stayed at the huts and reservations were made well in advance. There can be a risk to waiting to last minute during the busy season. There is a companion explainer video with me insight. kzread.info/dash/bejne/p2Z7z9uEfdvUnbg.htmlsi=OrsglLMje9IdATgR
Those views pheeew!
Yes! I'll have two more videos coming from the area. One of the 14+ mile West Rim Trail in Zion and one from The Fairy Land Loop in Bryce.
Very cool. We were just in Bryce Canyon last month and created some videos there too. We did the Navajo trail though. We did capture some of the same scenery. Isn’t the whole area beautiful? 👍
I couldn't stop taking photos or videos. There was another epic view around every turn!
Beautiful! I love all these mountains, rock formations, etc. What beautiful places we have here on our planet! 💜🩵💜
I totally agree!
thats absolutely gorgeous!!
It was a nice hike! My first time in the area.
Outstanding section, everything looks and sounds so beautiful
Thank you very much! Every section has its charm. 😊
Don’t know you, but I’m proud of you! Please take care and be careful, but have fun!!😀
One of the easiest sections I've done on the AT!
Awesoem video. Thanks for sharing. subbed & 👍7
Thank you, much appreciated!
Look into vaso dilators
Thank you, I had to look that up. Looks like what I was on falls into that category. I talked to my cardiologists and we have adjusted doses and the combinations. I feel more normal now. But the test will come when I head back out on the trail in a few weeks.
Hope it works out for you 🤞
To view the video in its entirety, please visit my channel. I worked with my doctor to update my meds. I'm hoping this improves my experience on my next trip.
Just an update on how I'm doing since the hike. My doctor has made some changes to my medications. I hope it makes a difference. With the new meds, I did a test hike of 15 miles (no weight except water and snacks) without dizziness.
Nice video R! Loved the 'I'm gonna fix myself' song in the background
I loved that song too! It fit so well.
Beautiful hike, those yellow mushrooms are Golden Oysters, we loved eating those ones last year! Thanks for sharing this video!!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed. This is one of my older videos so I was surprised to see it got a view! 😍
Well done video
Thank you so much! I appreciate your comment.
Ugh. Not enough poisonous snakes in that area.
It really was a fun hike. I enjoyed the swampy areas and beaver dams.
i thought it was a constant loop 'cos they never came back.
@@strawdog7704 Haha, sorry! It was all in jest. The pine barrens were lovely, and my feet really enjoyed the softer, level trail.
💖👌
💖 i so njoy ❄️❄️❄️❄️
Such awesome scenery. The snow made it so much more beautiful. It looked very cold. I have a few hikes in the poconos. I liked and subscribed. 👍
Thank you so much! I'm an amateur but I try to make a good product!
@@RebeccaCuff me too.
Super
Thanks!
I haven't used my snowshoes in a couple of years. It is fun to get out and explore deep snow in comfort!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Nothing like being out there in nature. God Bless!
The trail is my sanctuary! Thanks for watching.
@@RebeccaCuff Rebecca, I have been hiking over 40 years. Unfortunately my knee has wore out. I am almost bone on bone. I don't want the surgery(at least not yet) and I go for a cortisone shot once every 3 months. Sometimes it only last a few weeks. Walking is good because it gets the synovial fluid moving around the joint, however, the pain returns sooner than later. It is what it is. I have plenty of short hiking trails around me. I watch thru hikers on youtube and get much pleasure watching my fellow hikers experiencing God's great outdoors.Hike On!
@@hikedayley9309 Alas, it seems an inevitable outcome for most of us.
Very nice. Older
Many many thanks
Beautifully done video. I was really disappointed you didn’t camp, though. I kind of use these videos to help me recon an area for camping. I have hiked and camped the area from Henrys Mill, which is just over the hill from where you stopped, to Route 66 about 3 miles south of the ANF’s southern boundary. I’m going to look now at what other content you have on your channel. BTW, I have put public comments about the areas I’ve hiked and camped on Far Out / Guthooks. I hope you find them useful should you visit the area again. I also have a YT channel that covers my area, too. Not as slick of video production as you, though. Thank you for sharing !!
Thank you! I really wish I had backpacked as well, although given the rain, it was nice to start out each day dry. I do want to return to backpack the entire Allegheny section, but it's not in the immediate plans.
Very nice
Thanks! Appreciated 😊
That is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure. Thanks for watching!
Very nice, excellent video, new friend here.
Thank you!
I'm less than halfway thru video. Where exactly is this? I recognized Tracy Run area, Johnnycake Run along the lake.
I hiked most of that section back in '91, from Rte. 948 to a little ways past Rte. 59, didn't have the luxury of all those bridges or shelters. Wish I had the energy to do that today, I do about 10-15 miles at a time over a 4 day span. Ahhh the lovely results of 45 years of smoking cigarettes!
Rt. 346 to 948. I show it at the end of the video.
I did it with day hikers. I would like to go back and do more miles using the shelters or tent areas with my backpacking buddies. The trail itself was not too hard.
No need to rush, it's beautiful country!
This sure brings back some memories. I have been hitting this section of the NCT pretty hard the last couple of years ... all sectional day hikes. I'm surprised that I didn't run into you! I saw the reservoir in the summer and was surprised to see it at a lower level when I returned just a couple of weeks ago! I love the NCT!
We only saw one backpacker heading north and a hunter on the trail. We did see people in parking lots.
My husband and I have been hiking this section all summer, with some overnight trips. We met Bud T. at Root Run. A very under appreciated area. We rarely see anyone. Nice job highlighting it.
Thanks.....
It is a joy to share it with you! ❤
Very nice Rebecca!
Thank you! 😊
Mooooose!!!!
Da moose! 😊
You are Rockin the Retirement my friend!!!! Lovvvvve this one
I learn something new with each post. I really enjoy the creative process!
Whoooooaaahhh
TY! Top fan status! ❤️
Great job! We did some of this in late August but had heavy rain the entire time with few views. So watching this was great.
So glad you enjoyed it! We were very lucky with the weather!
Hommmme lands Thank you One of my fave hikes. Love how the gigantic rocks at The Pinnacle are falling down the slope in geological slow motion-❤
I wish I had more knowledge re: geology!
Looks so fantastic. Especially with winter just around the corner!
It was! Just don't look at the bill! 😉
@@RebeccaCuff uh oh haha We all need to pamper ourselves now and then. I'm ready for a big trip!
