When will people learn the fact that barrier islands are not for residential or commercial use?🤑🤡👎

If you have lots of fossil fuels (and they are relatively cheap), there is NOTHING that. you can't do. Think about it, the repleted beaches will in reality be fossil fuel beaches.

They said "sifting the sand", which is not the same as cleaning the sand. No telling what other particles slipped through the sifter......fiberglass, styrofoam, tiny pits of sand sized debri, dirty paper bits from who knows where....I don't know what else they could do.....you can take dirty water and run it through a purifier but sand......I don't know.

so great to see the pier still standing and folks enjoying the old gal. was really afraid this last big blow would take her. i got to play manager out there for a few months back in 1973 (yep, a long time ago) and had some of the best times of my life catching snook, pomp, mangroves, selling bait shrimp, netting fish for the patrons, rescuing torn-up pelicans (which were taken away to be doctored up) . sweet memories of long ago in far off places.

Sure! Construct a sieve or two--there's a video in my channel with a demonstration of how to do that--and bring a shovel. You'll want to consider the river's current in relation to snags and embankments. These are the places where the sediment is going to build up and provide richer substrate to sift through. I guarantee you'll find at least a few shark's teeth, but keep an eye out for other types of fossils, too, like glyptodon scales and ray bone plates. Finally, Arcadia is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so you may as well make a camping trip out of it. The campgrounds there are beautiful and staying the night means you can spend a full day fossil hunting in the morning. Cheers!

5:04 definitely sums it up. Whenever you have a group of people asking your group of "outcasts", so to speak, if they can film you, and after the filming is over they take that footage and add kazoo music in editing. That pretty much sums up what the film makers and everyone else thinks about you.

the editing is spot on. Good job!
Love it
