  They are very similar but very different. Shaving only removes the hair. Dermaplane does that AND removes the dead skin cells and surface congestion. Thanks for the question!

  The woman in the video was in her 50's at the time of this video. She has been investing in her skin to maintain her appearance so she looks great. It just depends on where your skin is at, to what degree we can help and what your realistic expectation would be. We have patients much older with incredible outcomes. Also best to do in combination with other treatments.

  @@bobbyjeancabbil9204 It depends on the severity of your case more than anything else. My case was covered under OHIP because it was serious and medical. You may be thinking about cosmetic and paid-service skin care. For youths who are suffering with acne at my level which brought them into extreme depression and hopelessness, the medication that Dr. Fara Redlick prescribed for me cured it and I did not have to pay anything except for a few minor things such as medications which can be budgeted for.

  It will help but there is rarely only one solution for acne scars so it’s best when it’s combined with other treatments depending on the type of scars you have
