I got my ears pierced when I was 15 years old and still wear earrings at the grand old age of 54. Some of my friends got a pierced ear or both like me, but l'm the only one still wearing earrings. Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional, as it said on a birthday card a friend gave me once. Also l can't see the point of empty piercing holes. Plus my girlfriend loves me having pierced ears with earrings in them. So a win, win situation.
