Karen Carpenter had the most beautiful and pure vocals of anyone I can think of. This is not to disparage other great singers but Karen was always in a class all by herself. I was so heartbroken that February day back in 1983. Karen, you are still missed. And we will all love you forever.

next to the beatles and moody blues the CARPENTERS have the most number of tunes that i loved and still love! karen's passing was terrible ... but it's a perfect example of the stupidity of young women lost in some stupid superficial obsession with their physical appearances ... what the hell has happened to the brains of these young women? now they are concerned with their false nails and implants and everything that is plastic! how do we get females to engage in brain development instead of this artificial non-sense?
Excelent selection, but somehow it was changed from original speed so it was discharacterized and disapointing. Its the opinion from a original fan.

I still remember those times during the week at the hospital and when Friday came, we went to the disco to remember my first girlfriend, Paqui, finishing her pharmacy degree so many years ago and I still got goosebumps. chicken, my god, this beautiful time greets all my contemporaries

中学生の頃英語を学ぶんだったら「カーペンターズ」がいいぞと先生から言われ始めて聞きました。カレンの優しい歌声に何度も聞き惚れました。亡くなってもう41年にもなるんですね。いつまでも聞き続けたい曲ばかりです。

クシャクシャしてる時にカレンの歌声を聴くと落ち着くのはなぜなのでしょうか？彼女の魔力としか言いようがないですね。
本当に何年経ったも色褪せない… 今のシンガーも勿論素晴らしい歌声なんだけど、カレンほどしっとりしていながら、温かい声で素晴らしい声量で歌いあげる人を勉強不足か私は知らない。
