I sell dj gear for a living, and I’m always telling people that the RP-7000/8000 are hands down the best DJ-specific turntables for the price and then some.

Ik denk dat hun onbetwiste meesterwerk "Hip To Be Square" is.

@renexoox Жыл бұрын

The RP-8000 has a lot of buttons as well. It's embarrassing trying to recover from pressing the wrong keyboard shortcut

I haven't figured out those buttons yet, I'm also not sure if I even need them.
@LarryZinc Жыл бұрын
@@renexoox It's MIDI capable. You can map those buttons to control anything MIDI. Normally as it is, it comes mapped for Serato DJ but it can be used with other software as well. In your case as a radio station, I don't really see much use with the buttons on the turntable but it's there if u need it.
@renexoox Жыл бұрын
Exactly, I also don't think I am going to use the buttons. The only reason I bought the 8000 is because of the USB port but I don't get any audio output over USB, so maybe it was better for me to buy the 7000. Now I only have to find out how to get remote start working via my mixing console.
@LarryZinc Жыл бұрын
@@renexoox Audio over USB would only be applicable to certain turntables like older models from Numark (maybe Stanton as well). The RP-8000 is more DJ-oriented but it's a good table.
