  My headlight module didn't even need to be replaced it just needed a wiggle and the circuit fixed itself. Thanks a bunch

  Thankfully I did all that at 5,000 miles. Now at 175,000 trouble free miles. Averaged over 30 mpg ever since. Kept the DPF to keep things clean, though.

  My markerlights, taillights and fog lights stay on when I turn my truck off, and usually turn off 10 minutes later but sometimes stay on indefinitely. I'll definitely check this module

  Did you unplug the sensor with the green tag around the wire? I think it’s an exhaust sensor

  I’m going to install 4th gen seats in a 2005… I have factory heated system but the 4th gen seats have heated and cool… would everything still work the same as of for the plugs… also are the plugs from the 3rd gen seat the same as the 4th gen as like the seat belt etc… you kinda making look like it’s plug and play except the heated components

  all the seat wiring and module from the third gen seats. the elements from the fourth gen seats for the movement of the seats you just hook up the power wires to the fourth gen seat module the belts i swapped the buckles from the third gen seats to the fourth gen seats

  Hey man. Awesome videos. Im doing this to my 03 truck, didnt have factory heat. (SLT) but it currently has heated seats from an 08 that arnt currently hooked up. My question is can i still do this using the 08 modules in my 2014 heated and cooled seats? Also do i need yo get that seat switch panel? Thanks

  im not sure if the 2008 wiring will work because the electronics changed in 2006 you will need the wiring from seats and dash for a 2003-2005 truck

  Appreciate the reply. Mine is a 2004 3500. Made the mistake of buying a 1500 interior from a 5th Gen. That won't bolt up without a lot of fabrication. Decided to sell it. Putting it out there so others don't make that same mistake.

  I know this is an old video, and I’m asking a stupid question here but I’m trying to find the Air intake throttle valve sensor to disconnect before running the truck (2014 ram eco diesel) same delete kit you got from diesel dudes. I can not find the aitv, any help would be really really appreciated.

  its on top of the engine facing forward toward the radiator but there is no point removing it. you wont gain any power also it will keep the engine from running away if you ever have an injector failure

  @@samswildgarage8805 right, im not looking for power boosts or anything. But in the instructions for the egr delete kit it says to unplug the sensor or it will have issues/fail to rev up.

  @@samswildgarage8805thanks. I just remove my 3rd gen steering wheel to put a 4th but connector is not the same. I am a good diesel mechanic but dont have access to dodge wiring diagram. So i Will reassemble till you make a tuto for wiring 😂thanks

  Hmm, I'm not a fan of the fact that it doesn't all work properly (cruise cancel/rsm and up/down on the correct side), otherwise cool install. I definitely like the look of the 4th gen wheels, tho I love my 3rd gen wheel tbh

  Sam I have a 3rd gen harness for heated seats and the wires on the plug going to the floor is different colors they are 2 reds with blue strip are them the right ones

  Then there is a break in the line between your fuse box and headlight Most likely your headlight plug it’s self But could be the fuse box as well or the wires between the box and the light

  does the front control module also control the blonkers?my truck the headlights,one works regular the other is high beams but if i swamp the bulbs same thing happens and also the blinker lights dont work,

  Hi did this test...pin 8 lights up but not the passengers headlamp...but the headlamp does work as it should...my issue is the drivers side...pin 9 doesnt light up with the test light..swapped out FCM no resolve..possible Fuse Box is bad..?..at one time the lamp out dash light would come and go and now its on for good...

  If the headlight is not lighting up at the point in the test where it should Then there is a break in the line between the fuse box and the headlight Most likely the headlight plug it’s self Bust could be a broken wire or bad fuse box

  Hey man love the videos, have been allot of help sofar. Can you help try to diagnose one strnage problem in my 04 ram? Its gas . But when i accelerate passed 1/8 of an inch , it sounds like theres a turbo in it. And it stops after about quarter throttle. Changing drive belt. Is there any chance youd know lol?

  ya could be alternator or power steering pump or a bad belt

  @@samswildgarage8805 I tried the belt and the drive chain looks okay, and it's actually only while in gear lol. If I'm parked and rev engine it doesn't appear. So it's probably the power steering pump, thank you !

  a tune will disable it but you still run the risk of the cooler failing and getting oil in your coolant

  the computer of the truck needs to be reprogramed to not be looking for an EGR in the system if it's looking for one and doesn't find one because you removed it then you get a check engine light and limp mode

  I bought a 2004 heated seat module, will it work in a 2009 dodge though. The pickup is a slt but I put in the factory heated seat switches for it and a different floor harness. The heated seat switches just blink but that’s probably because I don’t have the floor plug going to any heated wiring.

  yes the switches will blink if there is any problem with the system i dont know if a 2004 module will work in an 09 i would think you might be able to use the module from the newer seats because 2009 had can-bus system

  thanks for the reply, I did your test the only thing different about mine is when I tested and put power to #8 and 9 my headlights dont turn on, but they arent the issue all my lights work just my driver side turn signal doenst work. @@samswildgarage8805
