your channel could be a lot better if you show more of Bilbao,Getxo ( you showed the beach.but longer time would be desirable) and, generally speaking more of the outside and less of you talking to the camera. You could be talking and showing things at the same time
Hi~ You said showing them the financial means through your program was sufficient enough on their end to process your visa. Could I ask around how much is acceptable on their end? The program I was accepted into also has a job alongside with it, and the financial means proof is the one part stressing me out the most.
I get paid 1,000 euros a month and that was okay for them. Other people will print bank statements as well, but the consulate accepted the financial means from what the program provided. I hope this is helpful!
beneficial video
Thank you so much! I am glad you found it helpful
hi, which bus company operates the Bilbao-Vitoria route? I looked for a direct bus, but I didn't find one.
We used Autobuses La Union. I don't think they run every day, but I usually use Omio for booking my bus transportation. There's also BlaBlaCar, but I have not used that.
@@ticetraveltime thank you! ❤️
I liked this video a lot. Keep it up. I'm looking forward to seeing the next one
Thank you so much!!
Hello is there anyone that has lived outisde the USA for in the last 5 years and then applied for a Spanish student visa it changes the whole process and I am honestly confused looking for someone that’s on the same situation
I tried to find some helpful information for you and have the below, but always check with official websites and the consulate. If you've lived in multiple countries in the last five years, it appears you need police clearance certificates from each country. There is probably more on that, but that seems to be an important step! I hope it is helpful and good luck
Love your sticker idea ❤
Thank you! 😊
SOOOO HELPFUL - I have ADHD and this was EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you x a million <3
I am SO happy this was helpful! Thank you! Good luck with the process
hello quick question. the school i applied to is an American school in spain so for proof of funds could i use the fasfa loans im taking out
Yes, I believe you can use your FAFSA loans as proof of financial means for your Spain student visa application. You'll need to provide documentation that confirms the amount of the loan you've been awarded and any other financial resources you'll be using to cover your expenses while studying in Spain. Additionally, you may need to provide a bank statement showing sufficient funds to cover any remaining expenses. I advise bringing extra documentation just in case! Good luck!!
Not that I’m the standard to shoot for, but I took less than this for 14 days in Germany/Austria!
Very impressive! I think it depends on the type of trip and activities you plan on doing, as well as the person haha
@PRJCT OVOWK: I’m green card holder for 10 years and getting my us passport next year! With Spain study visa can you visit France for 2 days with Spain study visa before going to Spain , I’m from New York
I don't know for certain, but I believe that if you plan to visit France before your Schengen student visa for Spain becomes valid, you will need to apply for a separate short-stay Schengen visa (type C visa) from the French consulate or embassy in New York. This visa will allow you to visit France for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism or other purposes. I advise you ask the French consulate for advice though.
Hey, In order to make the appointment , is it still the same email?
Yes! Their communication isn't great, but if you email them saying you want to make an appointment, they will respond with the information they need to give you a day and time.
@@ticetraveltimeoh okay thank you , because I emailed them to book and appointment and I got a automatic response saying “this is not the official email for consulate….” so I was confused
@@AiByRichard It appears that you may be able to make an appointment on this website too - usa.blsspainvisa.com/nyc/book_appointment.php
Cool Vlog

❤ this was so much fun to watch thank you for sharing I love your adventurous spirit and I’m so admirable of your courageousness I want to hear about the teaching experience in Spain
Thank you so much for watching and supporting me! I would be more than happy to tell you more about the experience. It is WONDERFUL!
Thanks for sharing this. It reminds me of teaching English in Spain 30 years ago (taught in Barcelona for 2 years). Apart from sharing your experiences with others, it will be something wonderful for you to rewatch in years to come.
Aww thank you so much! It truly is an incredible experience :)
Love the content ☺️
Thank you!!
Which Osprey did you use and did you check it or do carry on?
I used the Osprey Sirrus 36 Backpack amzn.to/3hjgox9 . I brought it on the plane as a carry-on! If you plan to bring hiking poles, you have to check those. I would recommend buying hiking poles in Spain rather than bringing them.
Thank you for sharing this! I love that you put all the tips on the screen at the end! 😊
Of course, I am happy you found it helpful!! I also have detailed blogs of each trick or tip on my website if you're looking for more details.

Fabulous! I'm off to Tanzania tomorrow, can't wait <3
Have a great time!!
Awesome
Thank you!
Pack weighed 19 pounds before you removed stuff, what did it weigh then in total?
Hi Claudia! My pack weighed 12.8 pounds, about 5.8 kg, not including water or snacks. I also purchased hiking poles once I was in Spain. I never weighed my pack with water and food, only without it. I hope that helps! Buen Camino
@@ticetraveltime that is actually excellent. Shows discipline!
❤love the tips! I have the same backpack- were you able to carry on to the airplane? Or did you have to check in?
Hi! Yes, I was able to bring the backpack as a carry on. I did purchase hiking poles in Spain and could not bring them back to the states afterwards. If you have those, they need to be checked.
❤ thanks for sharing your packing list items ! Would’ve love to see how you packed your bag- I have the same one in a different color .
I'm glad you enjoyed! I actually ended up using packing cubes in my bag. It helped organize everything and made it so nothing was really loose. I also used silicon reusable ziploc bags to organize my smaller things. Maybe I will have to film a video packing up my pack :) Here are the silicon reusable ziploc bags: amzn.to/3YLvUC8
I’ve walked the Frances, and have watched so many other vids. Yours was clear and concise. Excellent video! Thank you. Buen Camino!👣🎒💕
Thank you so much! Buen Camino :)
Thank you for sharing and including the mileage. Very insightful and the terrain coverage involved. Am curious as to the timeframe it took to cover the mileage with breaks? Was it still very warm in September doing the Camino? Well done. Buen Camino 👏🏻
Hi Celtic, I am more than happy to help! I walked for 11 days and the timeframe within each day changed for every individual in my group. Generally, we started walking between 5-7 am depending on the distance. We tried to stop/take a break every hour and then halfway through the walk we would switch our socks, and sometimes re-vaseline our feet. There were days where we finished at 1 pm and others where we ended at 5 pm. It honestly depends on the person, but I suggest you listen to your body and break when it feels right. It was pretty warm in September, but I needed a long-sleeve/sweatshirt early in the morning. Foncebadon was the only town where I wished I had had more layers. I hope this helps! Buen Camino :)
@@ticetraveltime Thank you
nice tips, what size bag did you carry?
My bag was the Sirrus 36L!
where did you get your camino creditial before starting on the walk 🤔
I ordered mine on americanpilgrims.org/request-a-credential/ if you are from America! Ordering ahead is easy and free! My friends got theirs at church’s when they started. There were a lot of options on the path!
Beautiful reminder of my journey just a month ago! Thanks for sharing!
