  yea the geometry is wildly off. It might work ok for bits in soft construction grade wood where the hole quality doesn't matter. But it utterly destroys the bit as far as hard wood where a clean hole is needed and you can absolutely forget metal.

  Yeah, "just" a 1.5V battery... and a weird tool that I've never seen in my life, and a hose clamp, and some heavy-duty wire, and a 12 volt power supply that just happens to be capable of delivering high sustained current... and, you know, _an angle grinder_ And not caring that the result looks horribly ugly. And a rather loose definition of the word "repair", because it will probably just break again the next time you try to use it anyway. The channel name is at least appropriate, everything about this is BS.

  Eek! That is terrifying, the idea of that monstrosity going to pieces while using it. That is not even starting on the fact that they just spent $5 worth of CA glue to make a bit they could buy 10-20 of for the same money.

  I prefer my high speed rotating tools to NOT have a significant risk of energetic disassembly. Especially when I can buy an good abrasive bit for a couple of bucks instead of wasting my precious time. I'll build a tool, jig, or fixture anyday when it makes sense. This doesn't.
