Ever since crossing the Atlantic a few years ago as crew I’ve known I want to sail more and longer. With a dream of a long-term sailing vagabond life on a budget with lots of sailing and hiking adventures I bought Tilda in 2020 and started to prepare her to make reality of my dream. She was in need of some work and it has made a good chance to learn a lot. It’s been many hours and still there is a lot more to do, but one step at a time the journey has begun. I got a great chance to share someone elses journey of a life time in the past and that was invaluable, making me want to give in return and I like to share both ups and downs and not the least the beauty of all amazing places with you. Eight years ago, I spent 6 months in this region with my comfortable motor yacht. I also know Séte very well, and as a Swiss, this town is typically called Swiss. Why? I don't know exactly. Port Saint Louis du Rhone was my “home port”. It was a particularly small town that suffered greatly from the economic crisis. But it was a wonderful time, just as you described. The return trip to Holland also took 8 weeks. With problems with the draught of 1.40 m in the canals, which were in very poor condition.

the thing is, you don't need to go to Australia if you love the see. You can have this also on the long french antlantic coast... just without the aussies.

She is 1.7m I think in Koronisia for sure not and in Kópreina likely not. Parts of the port we were at about 2.1. But with carefulness maybe.

I don't believe you would have had a problem letting the sound from the guitar and singing for some seconds. I have about 20 secs on one of my videos sailing the Swedish archipelago, playing and singing a cover song without any problems.
I've had problems before and it's really annoying when it happened, can take months before the complains but you get your video demoneytized and so unworth after all effort spent on it

We had one setback as a screw "unscrewed" but otherwise it has held for 55 knots
