Hello from South Wales {old, not new!}. A bit of a heads up for you, re warping discs. I went through two front sets on my now 20 year old Suzuki SV thou, the originals as well as a replacement pair off eBay but last time got a pair of EBC ones with HH pads that claim to have a bobbin design that inhibits warpage. Can't recall how many years they've been on now but there's no sign of the nodding dog syndrome when pulling to a halt. If you decide to keep the Triumph, give them a go. All the best to you and yours.

In the UK we can quote the Sale of Goods Act, and another act I can't remember the name of, from 2015, which states "that goods should be of merchantable quality and fit for the purpose intended" which you could argue that the discs are your bike are not fitting that criteria. If you had done 30 000k+ maybe they would have some defence. All the best with getting resolution.👍

@@aussiewantok sorry to hear that mate. I have the same feelings towards BMW and Mercedes car dealers. The BMW went in for a recall job and came out with other warning lights showing and the Mercedes went in for a rear subframe failure, which thankfully happened outside my house and not when I was driving at 70mph on the motorway the day before! That came out with the parking sensors not working and they wanted to charge me £140 for an investigation and they would put it right IF it was their fault! They allegedly found other worn parts and needed to change them as they couldn't road test my car. Shocking, and I feel like I have been rinsed for £650!

@@aussiewantok I would fought them over this but I'm too busy and under too much pressure to deal with it. It has cost them a customer as I was planning on buying another Merc in 3 years as this one had been so good, still sweet at 155000 miles with only consumables replaced. I would never pay for an extended warranty or buy one on a used vehicle, not worth the paper they are printed on.

I immediately subscribed (number 600),You are good at this video lark. How could your dealer not put in a warranty claim for a warped disk? In the UK the warranty is 2 years, a Disk is not a consumable , I hope Head office "explains" to your service centre that just fitting a new Brembo disk is cheaper than a lot of bad publicity .. Nailed the guitar riff, loved it and the other music too. It is such a cool bike, I love that you own this because I would love to own one but it's not a bike I ever intend to buy. Those problems you listed - there's a few too many for my liking from a bike you've owned from new - and the idea that rotors are just "done" after 16000 is absurd, that's a joke. Glad Triumph came to the party. Loving your bike, keep the videos coming. I'm amazed that your dealership made a special guest appearance at the end of the video..

Dude, several of us in the states have had the left piston fracture and take out the top end while going down the road. Mine got covered under warranty, others did not and got $8k repair bills on a 1 year old bike with 3k miles on them. All 6 bikes that I know of, it was the left piston, breaking in the same part of the piston where the top ring land meets the machined valve pocket on the face of the piston. Piece comes off, smashes the valved and spark plug, and takes out the top end. BOOM. I also had the warped rotor, but they said it was normal. lol Not sure if I will buy another Triumph... Which is a shame, as I have owned 8 or 9 or them over the past 12 years...
