@@someone8476 when I had my door cards done I used the same black alcantara and gold stitching used. I am not 100% sure but if you want black message KolourKoncept and see
On the edge video it says to put the clips in with the smooth side against the deflector. Did you not scratch the reflectors with the pointy side against them?
hmm odd, i would not have the spike bit against the inside of the window as will damage the seal. no damage to the visible portion of the visors anyways so you wouldnt see a tiny mark if removed as its on the inside and in the groove.
If they'd called it a Granada , l think people could live with it as an SUV ... but to call an SUV a Capri is like shooting yourself in the foot Ford 🤔 🙄

@@MrWilliam.Stewart mine is 18 years old and only had usual maintenance serving. Nothing has mechanically gone wrong with it and not expensive to repair

Reminds me 70s British Leyland scratching round the various parts bin and borrowing an SUV battery platform from VW and then trying to make something from it. The designers know it’s naff, but Ford mgt are trying to get away with blindsiding the public by sticking a Capri badge on it. From what I can see, they have just stuck some minor panel mods onto an explorer.. If anyone buys this, it’s liable to be corporate idiots and people with no appreciation of the original. A new EV to soon be glued to dealer forecourts awaiting massif discounting to try and shift the barges!

Very nice mate 😎🔥, basically an MR200 equivalent, I had an MR200 for about a year, epic fun and sounds great, the extra rev range really makes it.
I think people should get over the name. I never thought Capri was a great car name anyway, it always sounded a bit wet to me. That notwithstanding the new Capri appears to have a good range and to tick all the boxes required of a modern car. The looks are subjective and I don’t much like them, but then there are a lot of badly proportioned and messily detailed cars about now and at least the new Capri doesn’t have an overwrought front end like some of the contemporary Korean cars, and the sides are free of origami influenced creasing. So that’s something I suppose. I suspect it will sell, to companies mostly, on its decent range. As for the appearance of the thing, well, it’s just another car.

New Capri is a lazy Ford money grab...
This is not a Capri and was never designed to be a resurrected low slung sporty coupe. I think the design is pretty mediocre and I cannot understand why Ford have tried to ape the Polestar 2 but with a taller and bloated body. But most of the opprobrium has been about the use of the Capri name. Perhaps Ford thought it would not register with a new generation (or two) or they were being incredibly naive in thinking people would not make the comparison. The car should have been named the Explorer Fastback which it what it is.

Be like if Lancia came out with an electric SUV and called it the Delta. You cant use an iconic name with history on something that has no relation to it. Yeh true, the puma doesn't look a bad car but not a 3 door coupe like the original. It's basically a Fiesta jacked up. Shame how Ford are going. I am only now clinging onto the fact you can still get a V8 Mustang

It seems that Ford basically left Europe. In America, Ford kicks ass with its models. Ford has been probably losing sales here, so its going with the best next thing, VW. It is probably better for them and more profitable to reskin VW and have a bit more sales than make a new car or ever withdraw from Europe.

Same thing's happened to the entire Lancia brand. Lancia has been bought and resurrected recently, to be a boutique ev brand. Nothing to do with the original brand, just marketting shenanigans. It's a big f u to all the meaning the name Lancia has. Seems to be a trend at the moment!
