JB weld and forget it.
That is not welding, it's brazing technic..either it is bronze (copper or aluminum)
This is called brazing. And you wasted oxy acetylene to do it.

Backwards turn drill bit will often spin those right out. The punch method I've used often as well.

This sort of repair infuriates a true machinist. The anger is due to fearing some cheap farmer is going to drag in a candidate and debate the machinist regarding the effectiveness. If there was room for the machinist to engrave "I warned (farmer name) this wasn't going to work(and date it)" he might do it. The engraving is to warn the guy who buys the equipment at auction, when the repair fails. Cause there's a high probability the farmer will immediately take to an out of state auction.
That has to be the dirtiest tungsten I've seen. My tungsten are cleaner AFTER I WELD

My good friend, I can assure you that if that bolt had heat seized in that casing, no amount of tapping it with a punch would get it to loosen up. I also love the way you use your circlip plyers to remove the bolt, what happened to your long nosed plyers?

Thank you I just broke one of the bolts off the magnita on my pushmower working on the flywheel. My homeboy let me take the bolts off and the first one I took off I broke it LOL

Not sure if that’s technically considered welding, it’s probably more accurate to call it brazing and here’s why. Welding even Oxy Acetylene Welding true Welding uses bare filler metal where Brazing uses Filler Metal that has a flux cored center or a flux coating or even possibly a jar of paste flux in rare instances. At the start of the process he was holding rods that looked almost like Stick Welding Electrodes and that is what he used to make his first pass around the original parent metal because it has a flux and then he used scrap aluminum that looks like he melted out into his own filler metal rods very crudely formed but they worked and he kept switching between the fluxed rods and then the bare scrap aluminum then back to the flux rods then bare aluminum then fluxed ones. So what he did was a suitable solution if he lacked access to a Tig Welder but that is how it truly should have been repaired but it requires access to the equipment and skills beyond the average welder skills
