I feel that fowards have a big advantage in speed with all the abilities and them being able to have a 95 accelerating, compared to my CB who had a 85 acceleration. You legit cant make a mistake playing defense.

So 5 min off bullshit without actually giving any advice but so called letting it become second nature 🤣 how do I make it F*cking second nature if I don’t know when to shoot all the shots are different if I try it with one he wil run up and let me wait and the other responds like the flash and shoots before I can even release the button on the first touch bullshit video

L2/LT Jockey has this longstanding issue of rotating you around to the back of the advancing ball player for some reason, putting you at a further disadvantages and a chase that you will surely lose

Shouldn't the whole thing just be better though? If the AI understands space in both an attacking and defending sense, isn't that preferable for everyone? My main issue is - as soon as I'm out of possession, my main thought is how do I stop the players I'm not in control of doing something unbelievably stupid? ... Oh and I can't win a header in my own box to save my life - I either get in position and somehow do nothing, I get the absolute wrong person, or no-one has tracked any runners. Half of the goals I concede feel like I've been cheated and half the goals I score feel lucky. All the assisted options are basically sabotage. So much of it is just illogical. All these tips are genuinely useful, but I honestly feel half of them are - how to deal with ticks in the game

i only use second man press and cover the passing lanes manually by holding l2 i'm not always holding second man press when my opponent pass the ball i release it and press with another teammate that works the best for me

Make sure your controller setting are srt to "classic" before you r match starts. Sounds like you're on alternate.

There's no absolute way of defending in this game. It's all too random. You can time the tackle, wait for the correct angle and moment to go in, actually tackle the ball and ended up losing it right away with the rebound or your opponent's ai automatically tackle the ball back as soon as they lose the ball because of high defensive depth/press after possession lost tactic

Nothing like this ever happens in a real game, if you opponent has players 95+, you can not bypass anything. If your player gets the ball anywhere near the opponents box, there are atleast 3 players charging towards you. And ofcourse you cannot use sprint to get away, if you do then your ball control is gone. The same applies to when you are trying to play from the back. So none of whatever you said works. And ofcourse i dont think its just switching quickly that works, for gods sake i only have 2 thumbs, i cannot tacke, jockey and right stick switch all together. This goes beyond passing or using any other button

My problem i think is I switch too quickly? I've noticed I don't or can't put pressure on players so every attack from the other team ends with a shot on goal. My question is when do you switch or how can i find the balance between applying pressure and switching for interceptions?
