What a phenomenal interview by Robin. Respectful, open, honest and real. We see Toby at a low point for him, and it’s hard to watch especially for those of us following him from the start of his career. Cancer takes it all out of a person, physically you can see what it destroyed, what it didn’t take was his faith, his will to live, his desire to do what he did best right up to the time he was called home. He has so much that we all can learn from. Thank you Toby for your vulnerability so that all of us your fans can learn yet one final lesson, that is to live like you are dying.. Love you Toby and the Covell family.

I have heard of this tragic occurrence. I never realized it was so widespread. When I was in high school one of the silver mines had a tragic occurrence where many men died. I had many friends who lost fathers and brothers. After many days 2 men were found alive. They ate the lunches of deceased friends and drank from their thermoses.

I know the sound cold too many people, but will it be televised I hope it wouldn’t be something nasty for the family, but there are many people fans who cannot pay the respects and say goodbye properly and I would love to be able to give my condolences to them properly

I am an 18 year stomach cancer survivor and was trying to help him in it is heart wrenching that I couldn't help more. This is one of the greatest losses to country and country rock music of all time. Toby Keith was not just a great artist he was a great American and he put on the hell of a show that everybody loved. I had recently wrote him a note asking him if he wanted me to build him a custom electric guitar because I didn't think he even had a electric guitar I never seen him play anything but a acoustic and I wanted to build him something Kind of Oklahoma like a put cowhide leather on it etc. kind of like a combination of Waylon Jennings Buddy Holly guitar and a Paulenty Italian leather face guitar. I still can't believe he's gone he will never be forgotten. I had a huge project I wanted to talk to him about to see what he thought about it. I played guitars too since I was 10 a lot of musicians are not particularly happy with the way Hall of Fame and others things like that or run it's just one of those corporate things by the bean counters that people that corporate not that actually love the music. I've never played for money I have always done this for the fun in the love of the music that I would play with anybody probably for that just because it seems like a riot up there on stage. There's nothing like it. I try to love all the music classical, rock jazz Pop rap country etc. I grew up playing Ozzy Osbourne war pigs and then in the next minute playing amazing Grace gospel. You have to have an appreciation and I think Toby had all of that for everything. I was shocked when I found out he bought a USA fishing lure company I just thought that was really cool he's the kind of American we need more of. We have got to break this come and divide crap it is hurting all of us. I write to a lot of musicians and I believe we can heal our country with the power of our music people need to put aside political parties we are Americans and when we unite is that we are unstoppable. it's not gonna be the same with the big dog playing up on the big stage who are the man. And I'm sure that's where he'll be❤

Toby was a hell of a songwriter! In the songwriters hall of fame, right next to people like Tom Petty. They both had the ability to pull great songs out of thin air! They made it look easy! I own many Toby cds, what is awesome, not just the hits, but every song is awesome! If he ever wrote a bad song, I never heard it! RIP Toby, the music industry just took a punch to the face!
