Welcome to Jason Schaedler Videos, home of all things railroad. It's been difficult to stay consistent with the videos lately, but hopefully that will change in the next few months. Thanks you for all of your support, it makes all the difference.
Where on earth did you find that whistle, and are there any markings on it anywhere that confirm's it's 3380's? because some other O-8's had boilertube whistles, but most had the GN 5 chime.

I love that maintenance away engine I think it’s a gypsy type logging locomotive I didn’t know there were more operating examples besides bear Harbor lumber Company number 1 in California which operates alongside the Fowker steam locomotive

Safety is our Number One priority remember dont drive near to the train otherwise it will hit your car and be aware of the surroundings such as listening to train's whistle and the incoming train when it comes near you. When 425 hits a white car, luckily the passengers in the car never get injured right

That would be awesome to hear on the Reading & Northern 2102. Particularly on this year's Rambles when she runs through the Lehigh Gorge to Tunkhannock and Pittston.

Having grown up along the N&W between Williamson and Matewan West Virginia, this very passenger train "stream-liners" as we called them was a daily, common sight. The mighty steam locomotives, pulling hundreds of cars loaded with beautiful, shiny-rich hard eastern Kentucky and West Virginia coal... with a whistle so long and lonesome as to inspire and stimulated one's soul... This was my childhood America, and yes, I wish you could have been there to witness... this time of our country's pride and greatness. A time gone with the wind... A time never to be forgotten.
