I have said it severally.. Obohia Rd,Ohanku Rd needs construction companies like Julius Berger or Craneburg to do a perfect job on these 2 roads juat like what JB is doing at PH rd especially what the did at PH by Uratta junction and what Craneburg did at Umueze, Early learning rd ,Shallom rd etc

Honestly I don't understand what is really happening in ABA. I lived all my life as a young man in that obohia road all through the 80s. I saw during mbakwe's administration when that road was tarred down to azumini in River state from ngwa road junction. Some of our friends attended umuagbai primary school. We also attended inter house sports of ohambele girls secondary school along that road also. Please what is happening?. Let the government do something. They can also channel that pond direct to azumini River as it was originally done during mbakwe's era by Guffanti construction company who did the job then.

For effective governance of big cities like Aba, Onitsha, Enugu and Portharcourt, they should have one mayor as the administrative head. All these Aba west and Aba South and Onitsha East and Portharcourt north is nonsense.

@emmanuelozuru5097 That political position of mayor is not recognized in the Nigerian constitution. It's an illegal act by the governor to have constituted such position in Abia state.

Death trap, why wouldn't the government, barricades this environment, how do you have such deep pits and the government left it open, its a death trap, it an environmental disaster for people living in that vicinity, the idea of channeling the water to pit is wrong,we have Aba River, that should have been the best channeling point,To solve problems of flooding, the governor should look into having water channels like many cities in the world, luckly Aba has River,

The main problem in that community is witchcraft, look around that area and see how miserable they are. They're the ones driving development and prosperity away from IGBOLAND. I pray that the government hears the cry of the innocents amongst them and intervene as quickly as possible.

Men i feel for some of our people the past administrations for 24years people have been living in dirts and bad environments its not easy to change quickly but with time they will change as others are changing just orientation is needed and waste bins place around that pond but governments in the past really messed with the people. it is well things will get better and as long as its humans we have the ability as humans to change.

What contributions are the people of Aba really making to help this govt, or does it mean like they use to say in the past that the problem of Aba are the people living there. If the people of Aba will not change from their old ways ,it means that all the good works of the govt will be a waste of time and resources

The management of Geometric Power Limited, owners of the independent power plant in Osisioma area of Aba, Abia State,The energy company however stated that it is making progress with alternative gas suppliers to ensure uninterrupted power generation, as well as investing in enhanced security measures to protect its facilities from vandalism. The company apologised for any hardship the outages may have caused its customers and assured that their team members are working diligently to resolve these challenges. It also said that it was monitoring TCN to ensure that they restore power supply, as soon as possible this week. In the longer term, GPL said that its goal was to conclude backup gas supply alternatives and restore optimal power supply by the end of September 2024. has appealed for the patience and understanding of electricity consumers in its ring-fenced area, following a recent power outage caused by damaged transmission line, owned by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN). The damaged transmission line, according to Geometric Power, impacted its backup power supply to consumers in the Aba ring fence, but noted that it is working closely with relevant stakeholders to restore power supply soon and fortify the power infrastructure in the area. Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State, and environs have been without electricity for about four days, due to damaged transmission line, belonging to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).The energy company however stated that it is making progress with alternative gas suppliers to ensure uninterrupted power generation, as well as investing in enhanced security measures to protect its facilities from vandalism. GPL in a statement obtained by BusinessDay, Friday, restated commitment to providing reliable power to all of its areas of coverage. Soludo is joking in Anambra state. He left Onitsha and Nnewi and went to Ekwulobia; I don't know wether he wants ekwuluobia to begin to compete with Onitsha and Nnewi? My question is; is that necessary for Ndi Anambra instead of upgrading the cities we have to reach international standard. Soludo is given our mandate but instead of working for us he is focusing on his own place. Soludo is this why we gave you our mandate? I know that some gullibles among us will say that he is also working in Awka but my question to them is; why should it be Ekwuluobia after Awka instead of Onitsha and Nnewi?
