  Will folks who want to join my Guilded server need to sign up for a Roblox account just to join me?? Or it it just us creators/moderators who are stuck with this Roblox connect nonsense? If potential subscribers have to go through nonsense, I’m closing my Guilded server. It’s tough enough to get paid supporters without convoluting the process. If Guilded needed funding this bad, they should’ve opened a Patreon, not killed their already-niche platform :/ This is a shame, bc I really prefer the multitude of tools on Guilded and the lack of micromanaging censorship crap. Am I really going to be stuck with discord just bc that’s the app everyone has already…?🙄 I’m a fiverr away from getting a dev to put a paid membership forum on my own site and be done with it.

  My Sony A7IV doesnt get recognized by any Software except the Imaging Edge Desktop Remote Software by Sony itself. Any ideas? I already tried the Imaging Edge Webcam Software it doesnt work either.

  it is impossible to get everything out for 1080p, it is best to have a 1080p monitor and without downscale then you have the best quality. I also have RTX4080 etc and a 2560 p monitor. I downscale to 936p or 1080 p with bibic and camera lac, depending on whether I play games with high motion, I don't mess with it anymore.

  While I do have a Roblox account I am pretty upset but also not surprised Roblox did that. They once again reminded me that they are a billion dollar company who can't even use their brains correctly like as if so many videogame companies today don't even care about reputation because they will get money despite their stupid mistakes.

  The only reason why this isn't as bad as HellDivers situation, its cause in that case the PSAccount format is currently banned in 177 countries, meanwhile roblox is only banned in 3 or 4 countries, two being China and North Korea which are already known for their strict laws. Still, a horrible decision, apparently big companies don't learn about the "optional" feature that is to let users enjoy how they want to enjoy their platform and don't force them to pay for features or to never use one or another feature at the same time.

  Im actually a person who played Roblox for 7 years, and ever since Roblox bought Guilded, i been a huge fan of it, however, this change is just horrible. They're basically killing their platform by doing this, if Roblox wanted more Roblox users using the platform, then they should have advertised Guilded on Roblox instead. I'll still be using Guilded but i will no longer use it for hosting an community but rather using the Roblox features that require Guilded

  I joined Guilded in 2021 to join one server and then I never used it again. I don’t use guilded but for the people that do, here are some issues that may arise for some seeming how kid friendly roblox is, they may censor certain words or peoples names, etc. like the roblox chat filter does. Roblox implementing this means more changes are likely going to ruin the already dead platform.

  my plan is to enjoy guilded until just before the day of being forced off for refusing to make a roblox account. at which point my current server will become an unmodderated anarchy server. it'll be my little parting gift for those who choose to stay. and i'll start providing links to another alternative service i plan to have set up in advance. still unsure which one i like though. element seems to be the most appealing.

  My group of close friends and I have been using a guilded server for the last 2 years when Discord drove us away due to censorship and user data concerns. We use Guilded daily. We're all adult firearms enthusiasts none of us have any interest in making roblox accounts. We don't want to go back to Discord so we're looking into other alternatives such as Revolt, Element, or Mikoto. Maybe you could do a video covering other Discord alternatives.

  I’ve thought about it, but unfortunately That other software has a user base that is incredibly small even when compared to guilded. I may make a video talking about them, but it wouldn’t be in depth one because I know nothing about those alternatives.

  Right now discord or something else is your best bet as Roblox is implementing this into Guilded and likely further implementations will be added that will censor the platform even more than discord ever has been.

  Performance wise, it pretty solid on windows others than browser source issues. Otherwise I’d say they have a good foundation to build on.

  I think considering it’s $50 and it’s a cheaper alternative than most $400 cameras that it’s not a bad choice to have. A lot of the folks myself included like the older “nostalgia” look most of the cheap plastic cameras give when taking pictures. It adds to its charm. The 4K FPS is a huge disappointment but it’s definitely something I’ll keep in mind when I make my purchase. Appreciate the honest review!

  You can get a 10 year old camera that takes better photos than this for that vintage look. This is legitimately ewaste.

  @@heyitsterry I was lucky to get one, a Nikon L24 for $90 off Amazon but the battery door broke which renders it useless. A lot of the older digital cameras are wayyy too overpriced and that’s if it’s in working condition too. I would find some cameras on eBay and they would be in poor condition or set up as “use for parts” which honestly bums me out.

  Biggest dealbreakers: + Proprietary even though it's clearly built on OBS + Limited OS support. No Linux support? + No native ARM support Might revisit if they fix any of these showstoppers.

  Hey, thanks for the making the video, I'm going to check Meld out for Windows. Just on your audio, there's something not right with it. The gain is really high and when you noise gate is open there's a machine humming noise that's really prominent in the background. When you don't talk, it's gone... It's like background noise in the room, but it could also just be the gain is set too high on your mic or something.

  @@heyitsterry - That's what I thought. I have an Nvidia graphics card in my PC and using their Broadcast software it can isolate out that noise. Elgato Wavelink can "kind of do it" (I use an Elgato DX mic and their Wave XRL DAC) but Nvidia does it better. It's a hard problem to solve.

  Just get a Tascam DR-10L Pro. It’s a small 32-bit recorder and you can replace the 2 AAA batteries and swap out the MicroSD card when you want. The sound quality is on par with the Rode Wireless PRO if not better. You get 24 hours of battery life off of the lithium batteries. This is a win for Tascam. I tried the Zoom F2 and hated it.

  So in a fixed point representation everything above 0 dbFS is permanently clipped, the 32 floating point representation gives you headroom above 0 so you can tone it down in post. It's been used in software for ages. Wonder why mic manufacturers came up with that so late. Also interesting if this model has dual low and high gain ADCs like Tascam recorders do.

  An affordable option is a mic by PoP voice. around $10 USD and with a little EQ can sound pretty good.

  I’ve goofed around with plenty of different Sony profiles and settled on SLOG3 for everything, except my office which is PP off because I record into an ATEM Mini. Instead of a rec.709 conversion in Resolve, I use Wide Color Gamut. Cullen Kelly has a great tutorial on it.
